
Yaya Sanogo to Ajax: Latest Loan Transfer Details, Reaction and More
Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo will spend the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Dutch side Ajax after agreeing a temporary move to the Amsterdam Arena.
As reported by the Gunners' official website, Sanogo "heads to Ajax to gain further first-team experience under manager Frank de Boer and assistant manager and Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp." Ajax provided an opening shot of the 22-year-old in the Netherlands:

The leggy forward has failed to hold down a prominent place in Arsene Wenger's first-team plans since moving to the Emirates Stadium from Auxerre in 2013.

Prior to confirmation of the deal, Sanogo highlighted his happiness to AT5 (h/t ESPN FC): "I am very happy because I didn't think a big club like Ajax wanted me so I have to work hard to play," he said. "I hope to score a lot of goals."
Sanogo needs regular first-team football to maximise his potential. He has proven sloppy on the ball and far from clinical in front of goal in recent times. Arsenal fans will hope Bergkamp can help him use his height and long strides effectively, adding craft to his game in the process.
Wenger has the likes of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott to deploy up front during the upcoming campaign before tapping into the transfer market for attacking reinforcements.
