Predictions for WWE Wrestlepalooza and AEW All out 2025 Match Cards

Chris MuellerSep 19, 2025

WWE and AEW are both set to host major events this weekend, but thankfully for wrestling fans, they are airing at different times.

AEW All Out will begin at 3 p.m. EST while WWE's inaugural WrestlePalooza will air at 7 p.m. EST, so while their may be a little overlap, fans will be able to watch both shows if they choose.

Both events are also notable in another way, too. This will be the first AEW PPV to be broadcast on HBO Max, and it will also be the first WWE PLE to be aired on ESPN Unlimited.

As of Friday morning, WWE has five matches booked, and AEW has a total of 13 across the pre-show and main card.

Let's take a look at each match and offer some predictions.

Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer

1 of 14

With Naomi announcing her pregnancy and vacating the WWE Women's World Championship last month, WWE was left with no choice but to find two new contenders to duke it out.

Former champion Iyo Sky will battle main roster newcomer Stephanie Vaquer in a match that is sure to be as physical as it is fun.

With Sky being a former world champion, it wouldn't be surprising to see her reclaim the title she once held, but it feels like WWE has been building up Vaquer to be a big star, so she seems like the more logical pick.

La Primera had a short but successful run in NXT, and with how fast management called her up, it's clear the company sees her as a valuable asset. Seeing her walk out of WrestlePalooza as the new world champion will elevate her even further.

Prediction: Vaquer wins the title

The Usos vs. the Vision

2 of 14

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed are set to battle one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history when they face the reunited Usos on Saturday.

Jimmy and Jey have shown a bit of friction over the past week, but they still had each other's backs on Raw against The Vision.

Reed and Breakker have been nothing short of dominant in recent months. Reed is a monster who has left some of the biggest stars in the company struggling to breathe after a Tsunami, and Breakker is one of the most explosive stars on the roster.

Together, they should be nearly unstoppable. The Usos will put up a great fight like they always do, but this feels like Reed and Breakker's time to shine.

Prediction: The Vision defeats The Usos

CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and CM Punk

3 of 14

AJ Lee returned to WWE after a decade away to team up with her husband, CM Punk, as they prepare to battle Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

Rollins and Punk have had one of the most personal rivalries in WWE since The Second City Savior returned to the company in 2023. They have cost each other opportunities and get into a fight almost every time they cross paths.

Lynch and Lee have breathed new life into this feud, and with this being Lee's first match in over 10 years, all eyes will be on her to see if she's still got it.

As good as Lynch and Rollins are, having Lee lose her return bout wouldn't make much sense. This is a chance for a feel-good moment, so she is likely going to get the win for her team to set up an Intercontinental Championship match with Lynch in the future.

Prediction: Lee and Punk defeat Lynch and Rollins

Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre

4 of 14

Cody Rhodes is riding high as the undisputed WWE champion, but Drew McIntyre is looking to cut his reign short this weekend.

The Scottish Psychopath is someone WWE can slot into the main event scene at any time because he has proved he is capable of putting on great matches and has earned the respect of the WWE Universe.

Unfortunately for him, it feels like he is filling the role of a placeholder until Rhodes moves on to his next big feud, possibly with the recently returned Brock Lesnar.

McIntyre will help put on an entertaining bout, but The American Nightmare is leaving WrestlePalooza with that title still around his waist.

Prediction: Rhodes defeats McIntyre

Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

5 of 14

John Cena's retirement tour doesn't have many stops left, but Brock Lesnar is aiming to send him packing before his scheduled final match.

The Beast returned to WWE and immediately set his sights on the 17-time world champion, reigniting their longstanding feud once again.

With this being one of Cena's last matches, but not the final one, it would make almost no sense for WWE to book him to lose. He might put someone over on his way out, but not here.

Cena is going to get the win and move on to his next, and possibly final rival.

Prediction: Cena defeats Lesnar

Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher

6 of 14

Kyle Fletcher is set to have the biggest match of his career this weekend when he battles Adam Page for the AEW men's world title.

The Protostar has been built up as a future main event player in AEW, but unfortunately for him, it's not his time yet.

Hangman has only held the title for a little over two months, so it would be very surprising to see him lose it this quickly.

Fletcher will still have the TNT title to focus on after All Out, so he is going to be fine. Putting on a good performance against one of AEW's most popular stars will still help him in the long run.

Prediction: Page defeats Fletcher

Toni Storm vs. Thekla vs. Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter

7 of 14

Toni Storm will defend her women's world title against three hungry competitors at All Out.

Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander have both been around in AEW for years, but Thekla is a newcomer to the brand, so she is kind of a wildcard here.

Storm retaining feels like the logical conclusion, but with The Death Riders courting Statlander recently, it wouldn't be surprising if the group helped her win the belt.

We're still going to go with Storm for our official pick, but if Stat wins, we won't be shocked.

Prediction: Storm retains

Kazuchika Okada vs. Mascara Dorada vs. Konosuke Takeshita

8 of 14

Kazuchika Okada will not only defend the Unified Championship against Mascara Dorada on Saturday, but he will also be facing fellow Don Callis Family member, Konosuke Takeshita.

Okada's reign with the title has been up and down. There have been times when it didn't feel like the title was being featured as much as the international title was, but that is more the fault of the booking than the champion.

This is the chance for AEW to make the title feel relevant again by having it change hands, and Takeshita is the perfect choice to take it from Okada.

Big Take has had a hell of a year and it would be awesome if he capped it off with a championship reign with the belt AEW wants to be on the same level as the world title.

Prediction: Takeshita wins the title

Brodido vs. Young Bucks vs. Don Callis Family vs. JetSpeed

9 of 14

Bandido and Brody King were a surprising choice to win the AEW tag titles, but they have proved to be a popular duo with fans.

Seeing as they won the belts less than a month ago at Forbidden Door, it seems highly unlikely that they would drop them so soon.

This is one of the easier matches to predict on the card for that reason alone. The three teams of challengers will help put on a fun Ladder match, but Brodido is leaving with the titles.

Prediction: Brodido retains

Mark Briscoe vs. MJF

10 of 14

MJF and Mark Briscoe's storyline has quickly grown into a blood feud, and we will likely see plenty of blood on Saturday when they fight in a Tables and Thumbtacks match.

MJF has taken his usual route on the low road and mentioned the late Jay Briscoe in numerous promos and segments as a way to get under Mark's skin.

MJF has been protected in AEW with minimal losses, but he has taken the L when it suits the story, and this is one of those times.

The only way to give fans a satisfying conclusion to this match is to have Mark get the win and celebrate with his family when it's over.

Prediction: Briscoe defeats MJF

Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley

11 of 14

Jon Moxley and Darby Allin will compete in a Coffin match this weekend, marking the fifth time AEW has used this stipulation.

Allin has won the three he has been in, which has helped make it feel like his signature stipulation.

After spending some time away climbing Mount Everest, it feels like Allin returned with a new drive to take out his former friend.

This will be a violent and chaotic match, but in the end, Allin will get revenge for what Moxley did to him all those months ago when he sent him down a flight of stairs.

Prediction: Allin defeats Moxley

Mercedes Mone vs. Riho

12 of 14

Mercedes Moné may have come up short when she challenged Toni Storm for the world title, but she has still managed to have a career-making run over the past couple of years.

Winning gold in just about every promotion she works with has given her more belts than she can probably fit into her luggage. This weekend, Riho is looking to lighten her load a bit by winning the TBS Championship.

Being the first AEW women's champion is something nobody can take away from her, but injuries and other issues have prevented her from having any kind of extended run with the company since its first year.

This will be a fun match, but The CEO is going to leave with just as much gold as she had when she arrived.

Prediction: Moné retains

FTR vs. Cage and Cope

13 of 14

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage may not be the best of friends again, but they have managed to keep their alliance intact to solve both of their problems.

Cope helped Cage defeat his former family, so now it's Cage's turn to lend a hand and help The Rated-R Superstar finish his story with FTR.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler's friendship with both men has been well-documented over the years, which has helped this feel like one of the most personal feuds on the card.

While FTR may be one of the best tag teams in the world, they are going to come up short against one of the most decorated duos of all time.

Prediction: Cage and Cope defeat FTR

The Rest of the All out Card

14 of 14

Eddie Kingston vs. Big Bill: With this being Kingston's long-awaited return to the AEW ring, the only outcome that makes sense is him scoring the win.

Prediction: Kingston defeats Big Bill

Eight-Woman Tornado Tailgate Brawl: This is likely the bout that will kick off the pre-show, and AEW likes to give the crowd a babyface victory to get the night started on most shows, so it's bad news for The Triangle of Madness, Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.

Prediction: Nightingale, Aminata, Shirakawa and Cameron win

Daniel Garcia vs. Katsuyori Shibata: This bout was a last-minute addition to the show on Dynamite. With Garcia being newly heel and a member of The Death Riders, he has momentum on his side.

Prediction: Garcia defeats Shibata

Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Anthony Henry and JD Drake: As good as The Workhorsemen are, this match feels like an excuse to give The Opps a win.

Prediction: Joe and Hobbs defeat Drake and Henry

The Hurt Syndicate vs. Command: MVP will step back into the ring alongside Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin to take on Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona. The Hurt Syndicate is looking to regain momentum after losing the tag titles, and this is how they do it.

Prediction: The Hurt Syndicate defeats Command
