AEW Dynamite Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights Before All out 2025

The Canada Life Place in London, Ontario, Canada hosted a special three-hour All Elite Wrestling event, September to Remember, in place of the usual Dynamite.

Ahead of their AEW Men's World Championship collision, Hangman Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher would sign the contract for their All Out match.

Jon Moxley would collide with Roderick Strong one on one. The Beast Mortos and Máscara Dorada would fight for a shot at the Unified Championship.

Thekla and Queen Aminata hoped to end their rivalry definitively in a brutal No Holds Barred match.

"Timeless" Toni Storm stepped into the spotlight ahead of her Fatal 4-Way title defense. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage met face-to-face with FTR before All Out.

In three qualifiers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships ladder match, The Young Bucks faced The Bang Bang Gang while The Don Callis Family collided with Top Flight and JetSpeed fought Kip Sabian and Killswitch.

Bobby Lashley stepped into the ring for the first in a while on his own to fight Toa Liona. Riho got a valuable warm up match against Robyn Renegade.

This was a jam-packed show, promising to be the best Dynamite of September while setting the stage in a massive way for All Out.

Hangman Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher Sign the Contract

1 of 11

Last Time in Action: Hangman Adam Page defeated Josh Alexander (Dynamite, September 10); Kyle Fletcher teamed with Alexander and The Young Bucks to defeat Hangman, Kenny Omega and JetSpeed (Dynamite, September 3).

Tony Schiavone facilitated this contract. Page was alone while Don Callis backed up Kyle Fletcher and spoke for him first.

The Cowboy revealed that he had added a stipulation to the AEW Men's World Championship match: if The Callis Family interferes, Fletcher will be stripped of the TNT Championship.

The Protostar confidently declares his victory to come and warned Hangman that he would lay him out before the end of the night.

This was a phenomenal hype segment for this world title match. While the build has been inconsistent, this sold why this match not only matters but could be the main event of All Out.

Fletcher wants to be AEW men's world champion more than anything and sees himself as the future of the business. He is aspiring to pass anyone he has ever been compared to.

Hangman is the stalwart veteran, hardened by his experiences and testing one of the next generation stepping up to him. He will only lose if The Protostar earns it.

While all signs point to a loss for Fletcher, AEW has done enough to explain why he could be the one to take down Hangman since he has delivered time and again in big spots.

The stipulation could even allow Fletcher to drop the TNT Championship but get enough help from The Callis Family to take the gold. Someone else could also get involved to help The Protostar.

The possibilities are intriguing, but what matters most is that Fletcher delivers in this spot. He could make himself the ace of AEW before long if he steals the show with The Cowboy.

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Callis revealed he has wanted revenge against The Cowboy since he first defeated Kenny Omega for the world title.
  • While Callis was phased by the added stipulation to the title match, Fletcher promised he would agree to anything for this shot.
  • Hangman dug into his history, warning The Protostar of the pain he would feel the morning after losing his first world title shot.

Jon Moxley (w/ Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia) vs. Roderick Strong (w/ Kyle O'Reilly)

2 of 11

Last Time in Action: Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia defeated Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly (Collision, September 13).

KOR did his best to help keep Strong in this fight, but Wheeler Yuta tripped The Messiah of the Backbreaker right into a Bulldog Choke for the tap-out.

While there is little dramatic reason to invest in a Paragon feud with The Death Riders right now, this was quality in-ring match between two great veterans, even though this was their first singles match together since 2010.

Strong has consistently delivered in the ring no matter what the story, and this was no different. The two meshed well throughout and sold why The Messiah of the Backbreaker is such a threat to The Death Rider.

Mox needed to win here, but it was a surprise that Darby Allin did not appear in any fashion. The action solidified the difficulty of anyone to overcome the numbers of The Death Riders.

Result

Mox def. Strong by submission.

Grade

B-

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Before the match, AEW showed a hype package for Mox vs. Allin.
  • Bryan Danielson explained why he has given up on Wheeler Yuta as the future of the business because he continues to follow The Death Riders.
  • Shafir pulled out a rare smile getting in the face of her real-life husband.
  • Red Death tried to attack Strong late, but KOR made the save.
  • AEW showed a dramatic hype package for MJF vs. Mark Briscoe's Tables and Thumbtacks match.
  • In an interaction following Collision, MJF complained to Tony Khan about the match stipulation, but TK would not change it after MJF's recent actions.
  • Danielson interviewed Darby Allin, who talked up his Mount Everest climb and convinced The American Dragon to stay out of his match.

Bobby Lashley vs. Toa Liona

3 of 11

Last Time in Action: The Hurt Syndicate lost the Tag Team Championship to Brodido thanks to the interference of Ricochet and GOA (Forbidden Door, August 24); GOA and Ricochet lost their shot at the Trios Championships to The Opps thanks to The Hurt Syndicate (Dynamite, August 27).

Bobby Lashley found a big fight from Toa Liona, who stuck with him blow for blow. The All Mighty finally managed to lock in The Hurt Lock, keeping it in even as Liona took him to the mat, forcing a referee stoppage.

This was far more dramatic than expected. Lashley bumped big for Liona, making him look like more of a destroyer than anyone else has.

It genuinely looked like Liona might be the one to pick up the first pinfall victory over Lashley, which is what makes The All Mighty's presence in AEW so special.

He is a dominant force that could rival anyone on this roster, but he also is willing to work with the talent and find ways to make them look good.

This was a strong preview of what is coming, and it sets the stage for a possible upset win by Ricochet and GOA at All Out.

Result

Lashley def. Liona by referee stoppage.

Grade

B

Notable Moments and Observations

  • The crowd was heavily behind The Hurt Syndicate throughout, singing their theme multiple times over.
  • Kaun tried to distract Lashley but took a Benjamin superkick for his trouble.
  • MVP got a loud chant of support once he got physical, still working in a suit.

FTR and Christian Cage and Adam Copeland Exchanged Final Words

4 of 11

Last Time in Action: FTR defeated Tommy Billington and Adam Priest (Collision, September 13); Cage and Cope defeated Kip Sabian and Killswitch (Forbidden Door, August 24).

Tony Schiavone warned that any physicality would lead to a $100,000 fine while Stokely Hathaway made clear it was $500,000 if he got attacked.

Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood and Adam Copeland talked about their history and shared experience. Christian Cage reminded everyone that he's rich and does not care about fines before starting a brawl.

This was a delightful segment where The Patriarch did the most with the least mic time, and the others collectively sold what this friendship breaking down meant to them.

After losing a bit of the magic in the last couple weeks, this was a return to form that once again showcased why this match is so special.

Whether it main events or simply gets a big spotlight, this will be one of the highlights of All Out, and this segment only helped sell that fact.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Cash talked about his first encounter with Cope in a gym 16 years ago.
  • Dax called their opponents a mediocre team carried by two other mediocre teams.
  • Christian corrected The Rated-R Superstar when he called them "Cope and Cage" as they are "Cage and Cope".
  • An errant punch to Dax busted up his nose, causing him to bleed noticeably.

Tag Title Ladder Qualifier: Young Bucks vs. Bang Bang Gang

5 of 11

Last Time in Action: The Young Bucks and Death Rider earned $500,000 by defeating Brodido and The Opps (Dynamite, September 10); The Bang Bang Gang lost in the Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament to FTR (Collision, July 31).

Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn fought with all their heart but fell to The Meltzer Driver.

The Young Bucks keep themselves fresh each week, now riding high with $500,000 they are quickly wasting.

They also continue to battle with extra fire for major opportunities, leading to consistently strong in-ring performances.

This was great action from bell to bell. Austin and Juice knew how to keep the same energy at Matt and Nick. It was the best pure action of the night to this point.

The win was always going The Young Bucks' way. It would be nice to see The Bang Bang Gang figure it out soon though. They deserve to be more than just the team that loses to the big names.

Brodido already delivered a phenomenal match with The Young Bucks on the way to winning the gold, and this wild ladder match should be no different.

It would be a good idea to find the right spotlight though for a two-on-two title match between two of AEW's best right now.

Result

Matt and Nick def. Juice and Austin by pinfall to qualify for the AEW World Tag Team Championships ladder match at All Out.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Renee Paquette found The Young Bucks paying off production for extra pyro in their entrance.
  • Nick even gave Renee money while Matt warned they were running low.
  • AEW acknowledged BTE, showing highlights of The Young Bucks spending too much money at the casino.
  • Juice nearly took the win with a Blade Runner on Matt.

Unified Championship Eliminator: Máscara Dorada vs. the Beast Mortos

6 of 11

Last Time in Action: Máscara Dorada won alongside JetSpeed and Bandido over The Don Callis Family (Collision, July 19); The Beast Mortos lost alongside Rush and Dralístico to The Opps (Dynamite, August 13).

Dorada was consistently one step ahead of a game Mortos, managing to put him down with a Shooting Star Press.

Afterward, Kazuchika Okada arrived to taunt his challenge alongside Don Callis. Konosuke Takeshita followed to stare down the champion before Dorada springboarded onto The Rainmaker.

AEW packed in the great action during this second hour. This time, it was all about the lucha libre. These two men were rolling throughout.

In classic lucha fashion, it was not completely clean, but it was always fun. This was a chance for these men to show off, and they did that.

It was obvious early that Dorada was going to win as he consistently rolled over Mortos multiple times. The Beast made Dorada look great throughout.

He needed that highlight if he was going to look like he could stand with Okada and Takeshita.

Result

Dorada def. Mortos by pinfall to qualify for the Unified Championship triple threat at All Out.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments and Observations

  • The crowd was loud in their "lucha" chants for the action.
  • Dorada planted Mortos with a Canadian Destroyer on the apron followed by a tornillo to the floor.
  • It looked like it was over after a top rope headscissors driver, but Mortos kicked out at one.

No Holds Barred: Queen Aminata vs. Thekla

7 of 11

Last Time in Action: Aminata won with "Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa over Billie Starkz, Julia Hart and Skye Blue (Collision, August 30); Thekla with The Triangle of Madness, Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford won $500,000 over Jamier Hayter, Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron and TayJay (Collision, September 13).

Before the match, Storm appeared in the spotlight to question how long she had left. Both Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander interrupted to make their cases to win.

Thekla interrupted Storm to start her match early, beginning a brutal brawl. The Toxic Spider sealed the win with a stomp on a steel chair.

Afterward, The Toxic Spider announced herself to be The Timeless One's "end". Storm ran out to attack Thekla while Hayter and Stat brawled.

Julia Hart and Skye Blue saved Thekla while Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir convinced Stat to leave. Hayter held back from laying out Storm before security broke them up.

This was a chaotic scene pre- and post-match on top of the wild hardcore action between Thekla and Aminata.

It sold how much could happen at All Out, creating enough questions that fans can believe Storm might just lose the AEW Women's World Championship.

Queen and The Toxic Spider have fantastic chemistry while fully leaning into the perception of their heat. They brutalized one another, both looking great throughout.

By the end, it looked like Thekla would go into this match with the most momentum, but it was actually Hayter that got the strongest tease as the possible spoiler at All Out.

The Timeless One has done so much at champion that it would not be a surprise for her to lose, but it would be best after everything for someone to definitively defeat her one-on-one.

Result

Thekla def. Aminata by pinfall.

Grade

A

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Before Aminata got in the ring for the match, she threw in multiple chairs and a trash can.
  • Aminata knocked Thekla into the tree of woe on the top rope, but The Toxic Spider blasted her with a trash can lid then a Spider Suplex.
  • This match got the loudest "This is awesome" chant of the night.

Tag Title Ladder Qualifier: JetSpeed vs. Kip Sabian and Killswitch

8 of 11

Last Time in Action: JetSpeed lost alongside Hangman Adam Page and Kenny Omega to The Don Callis Family (Dynamite, September 3); Killswitch and Sabian lost to Christian Cage and Adam Copeland (Forbidden Door, August 25).

"Speedball" Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight kept Kip Sabian and Killswitch on their toes with their fast pace, but it was Killswitch who decided the result. He refused to let Sabian tag out, setting him out for a Time Adventure to lose.

This was more about the drama than the pure in-ring action, not quite living up to the highs of the previous few matches.

Still, it delivered the right result and a satisfying bit of revenge for Killswitch, who will need a new (or old) ally in his corner soon after turning on The Matriarchy.

JetSpeed add another exciting speed element to the tag title ladder match, which is shaping up to be something truly special.

No one is beating Bandido and Brody King yet as champions, but this should deliver the biggest spots of the night at All Out.

Result

Bailey and Knight def. Sabian and Killswitch by pinfall to qualify for the AEW World Tag Team Championships ladder match at All Out.

Grade

C+

Notable Moments and Observations

  • The crowd chanted "Luchasaurus" at Killswitch.
  • Knight got in the face of Mother Wayne, who told the "young man" to back off. After the win, The Jet blew her a kiss.
  • Sabian slapped Killswitch for a tag then knocked Sabian's feet off the ropes when he tried to get a cheap pin.
  • Killswitch walked out alone while Mother Wayne admitted Sabian was right about the monster.
  • Backstage, Big Bill questioned if Eddie Kingston would actually appear at All Out.

Riho vs. Robyn Renegade

9 of 11

Last Time in Action: Riho with Alex Windsor defeated Mercedes Moné and Emi Sakura (Dynamite, September 10); Robyn lost to Moné (Collision, March 29).

Riho found herself out-sized by Robyn Renegade but fought from underneath to catch her opponent with a Crucifix Driver for the win.

Afterward, Robyn grabbed the leg of Riho to set up Moné to lay her out with a Moné Maker.

This was decidedly an extended squash as Robyn never had a real chance to beat Riho, but it was at least the best Riho has looked since she returned.

Robyn bumped consistently clean for her, and Riho looked much more like herself, moving at her preferred speed throughout.

This could be the latest strong indicator of Robyn's value if AEW wants to use her more. The CEO could use some established help.

Few have been more important to AEW than Riho in terms of getting this women's division off the ground, but this match with The CEO is a major test.

Does she still have the ability to keep up with the rising level of competition? Hopefully, she can because this division could use as many high-quality competitors as possible.

Result

Riho def. Robyn by pinfall.

Grade

C

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Moné joined commentary with all her titles on a separate table in front of her.
  • Robyn used her height to mock Riho multiple times to the delight of The CEO, but the former champion always found a way to respond.

Tag Title Ladder Qualifier: Don Callis Family vs. Top Flight

10 of 11

Last Time in Action: Josh Alexander and Hechicero with CRU lost to Yuya Uemera, El Desperado and Paragon (Forbidden Door, September 24); Hangman Adam Page, Kenny Omega and JetSpeed (Dynamite, September 3); Top Flight with Scorpio Sky and Hiromu Takahashi defeated The Don Callis Family (Collision, August 23).

Dante Martin and Darius Martin fought hard, but The Family was still too much. After Alexander knocked down Dante, Hechicero knocked him out with Guillotine Slam to win.

Afterward, more of The Don Callis Family threatened SkyFlight until JetSpeed came out to even the odds. The Young Bucks and Brodido arrived to further a wild brawl. The champs cleared the ring.

Lance Archer and Rocky Romero threatened Christopher Daniels until Hangman arrived. The Cowboy was ready for Kyle Fletcher, but The Family still overwhelmed the champion.

The Protostar laid out Hangman with a brainbuster off the apron through a table. The show ended with Fletcher stood over The Cowboy with the AEW Men's World and TNT Championships.

This was a fun final match for the night, but it was far from the best action. It might have been better for The Young Bucks vs. Bang Bang Gang to close this out.

The aftermath in that case would not have changed. The goal was to sell that Fletcher might be too much for Hangman.

He earned his match by putting Omega on the shelf with a brainbuster through the table. It makes sense for him to try and do the same to Hangman to weaken him before All Out.

It still is highly unlikely The Cowboy loses, but Hangman will likely work the main event with an injury coming in, giving him a tough road to that victory.

Result

Alexander and Hechicero def. Dante and Darius by pinfall to qualify for the AEW World Tag Team Championships ladder match at All Out.

Grade

B-

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Before the main event, in a pre-tape, Daniel Garcia delivered a challenge to Katsuyori Shibata for Saturday Tailgate Brawl at All Out.
  • Backstage, Hangman warned Sky Flight to watch out for every member of The Family during their match.
  • Callis was so impressed by Dante that he teased offering him a Family spot. He also talked up the chemistry of brothers.
  • Darius suffered a tough fall on the outside that left Dante alone for the finish.

Overall Show

11 of 11

Three hours of action flew by with ease, selling the big matches to come for All Out.

Go-home Dynamites do not always have this cohesive a hype machine for the pay-per-view to come, especially when AEW has Collision on Saturday to do more of the work.

This was a much more cohesive vision for All Out. Over three hours, every contest got a separate, unique hype spot.

The matches were generally good with a better mix of talent than Dynamite's typical tight cards.

A few segments and matches did not quite live up to the highest highs, but everything was at least decent.

Hangman Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher, "Timeless" Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander vs. Thekla and Christian Cage and Adam Copeland vs. FTR all feel special.

As a whole, All Out feels like a big deal thanks to all the work done on September to Remember, and AEW has not missed on PPV in a long time.
