UFC's Dana White Talks White House Fight Card Crowd Size, Layout, Security, More
UFC President Dana White provided some insight Wednesday into plans for a UFC event at the White House next year.
During an appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, White said he and his team recently met with United States President Donald Trump and presented him with their ideas for the show, noting that Trump "loved it."

White went on to say that due to security measures, the live crowd on the White House lawn will be limited to less than 5,000 people.
However, White added that there is an adjoined park that can accommodate 85,000 people watching the event on screens and enjoying musical performances.
Trump and UFC both recently expressed public interest in a UFC event being held on the White House lawn in Washington, D.C., on July 4, 2026, to celebrate the United States of America's 250th birthday.
Last month, White said, "The White House fight is on. I will have more details on that in the next couple weeks. We got it done today."
Although the initial vision for the White House card called for it to take place on Independence Day, Alex Leary of the Wall Street Journal reported last week that it will instead occur "sometime in June" as part of Trump's 250th anniversary celebrations throughout 2026.
It isn't yet clear which fighters will be chosen for the White House event, but some high-profile stars have already expressed interest.
Jon Jones and Conor McGregor, who are two of the biggest stars in UFC history, have both said they would like to be part of the card even though Jones retired in June and McGregor hasn't fought since 2021.
