Kris Statlander Shocks Toni Storm to Win AEW Women's Title at All Out 2025

Kris Statlander beat Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter and Thekla in a four-way match at All Out on Saturday to win the AEW Women's World Championship.

Two weeks ago on Collision, Storm took part in an eight-woman All-Star tag team match, joining forces with Statlander, Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron against Megan Bayne and the Triangle of Madness, which is comprised of Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

After Statlander won the match for her team, the Triangle of Madness went on the attack and had the upper hand until Hayter arrived on the scene to run them off.

Despite Hayter rushing to her defense, "Timeless" Toni didn't react positively, likely due to the fact that they are former rivals who did battle for the AEW women's world title on multiple occasions in the past.

Clearly fired up over the match and melee afterward, Storm said she wanted to "get nuts," and thus challenged Hayter, Statlander and Thekla to a four-way match for the belt at All Out.

In choosing Hayter, Statlander and Thekla as her opponents, Storm opted to go up against three supremely talented wrestlers who have all achieved varying degrees of accomplishments in AEW.

Hayter held the AEW women's world title once before, and while injuries in recent years prevented her from getting back to the top of the mountain, All Out offered her a massive opportunity to do so.

Statlander was the second-ever TBS champion, ending Jade Cargill's record 508-day reign in 2023. However, she entered All Out having yet to hold the AEW women's world title.

Thekla only recently joined AEW back in May after enjoying a great deal of success, and while she has made an instant impact, All Out represented her first big chance at championship gold in the company.

With a victory at All Out, Statlander is finally the person to beat in the AEW women's division, and she is now the 10th different wrestler to have held the AEW women's world title.
