Michigan's Bryce Underwood to Support Detroit Youth Programs with Jersey Sale Proceeds
Bryce Underwood's officially licensed jerseys are now available for purchase to support a cause important to the Michigan quarterback, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
A percentage of the jersey sales will be donated to Detroit youth programs as the Belleville, Michigan native is giving back to the area that he grew up in.
"I look forward to making an impact in the city that raised me," Underwood said, per Schefter.
The 18-year-old is entering his freshman season with the Wolverines following an impressive tenure at Belleville High School. During Underwood's final year with the Tigers in 2024, he completed over 71 percent of his throws for 2,509 yards and 32 touchdowns compared to just six interceptions (h/t 247Sports' Andrew Ivins).
He went on to become the No. 1 prospect in the country as part of the 2025 recruiting class, per 247Sports' composite rankings. Underwood initially committed to LSU, but flipped to Michigan in Nov. 2024.
Expectations are high for the signal-caller, as he was named the Wolverines' starter on Monday.
Underwood is set to make his college debut against New Mexico on Saturday, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET.
