Little League Softball World Series 2025 Monday Scores, Bracket Results, Highlights
Day two of the Little League Softball World Series kicked off on Monday, with four games on the schedule. Below, we'll break down the day's results and top highlights from all the action.
Schedule and Results
North Carolina def. Indiana, 5-3
Oklahoma 2, Florida 1
Pennsylvania 9, California 0
Japan 6, Canada 1
Japan 6, Canada 1
Japan didn't waste any time offensively, taking a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
Canada cut the deficit in half with a run in the third, but couldn't get on the board again before the matchup came to an end.
Japan's pitchers put together a dominant performance on the mound, racking up 10 combined strikeouts compared to just three walks and four hits allowed in six innings.
Pennsylvania 9, California 0
Pennsylvania left no doubt on Monday, and starting pitcher Reagan Bills continued her dominance on the mound.
The star pitcher really only needed one run of offense to get the win against California, but Pennsylvania provided nine in a 9-0 rout.
Oklahoma 2, Florida 1
Oklahoma gave up a run in the first inning but starting pitcher Harmoneigh White locked it down from there, beating Florida 2-1 on Monday.
Florida appeared to have a pair of runners reach base in the sixth, but a controversial runner's interference call wiped one away. White handled the rest, finishing out her gem on the mound.
North Carolina 5, Indiana 3
North Carolina, the Comeback Kids.
The team from Pitt County—the tournament's defending champion—entered the top of the sixth trailing 3-0 but promptly scored five runs en route to a 5-3 victory. It was their second comeback victory in as many days.
Emily Mills started the comeback with a two-run single, followed by RBI singles from Ava Wilson, Avery Cash and Gemma Braxton. North Carolina closed it out from there.
Indiana opened the game with a three-run first inning, highlighted by an RBI single from Grace Fiore, an RBI double from Kennedy Nickels and an RBI single from Scarlett Renn.
But North Carolina pitcher Makayla Montgomery, who replaced Mills on the bump in the first inning, steadied the ship from there, keeping Indiana off the scoreboard the rest of the way.
