AEW Dynamite Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights After All In 2025

Kevin BergeJul 16, 2025

All Elite Wrestling delivered its top show on the year on Saturday with All In 2025 and hoped to follow up big with the July 16 edition of AEW Dynamite from the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.

New AEW world champion "Hangman" Adam Page spoke about his huge win as well as teaming up with Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs against The Death Riders.

"Timeless" Toni Storm also appeared to address her victory over Mercedes Moné.

Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Thekla and Queen Aminata looked to build momentum for future title opportunities and win $100,000 in a 4-Way showdown.

Bandido, Brody King, Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey hoped to shut down The Don Callis Family's Hechicero and Josh Alexander as well as The Young Bucks in an All-Star 8-man tag team contest.

Máscara Dorada returned to action on Dynamite to face a motivated Kyle Fletcher, who was still seething after a tough loss at All In.

This was an important night for AEW, keeping the momentum rolling from All In while beginning to tease what could happen at Forbidden Door on August 24.

'Hangman' Adam Page Thanks Fans after AEW World Championship Win

1 of 9

New AEW world champion "Hangman" Adam Page came out after an introduction from Tony Schiavone. He thanked everyone who got him to this moment.

He then sent a message to Jon Moxley, stating that he did cry and feel emotional but that did not make him any less of a man or champion.

A loud sold-out crowd in Chicago echoed in support of The Cowboy and fueled him to deliver a great first promo as champion.

It was the expected response from Page with no surprises or interruptions, but that was what was needed in this moment.

Before AEW makes clear if a Hangman vs. Mox rematch is the plan or another challenger will step up to Page, this was a celebration of a big change for the company.

Notable Moments

- The crowd started a "You deserve it!" chant, but Hangman countered by turning it into a "We deserve it!" chant.

- Page thanked Orange Cassidy, Jay White, Cope, Katsuyori Shibata, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin and Will Ospreay for their sacrifice.

- The last man Hangman thanked was Swerve Strickland.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Máscara Dorada

2 of 9

Máscara Dorada pushed Kyle Fletcher more than he expected, but The Protostar still managed to pick up the victory with a brainbuster.

This was a wild battle between two great athletes. Dorada may continue to establish himself to a new audience, but he got himself fully over with this crowd in the ring.

It would be nice to see one of CMLL's best picking up more wins, and hopefully that is the plan as he works more matches with AEW.

For now, though, he did a great job delivering while making Fletcher look fantastic. This felt like two future champions colliding.

The Protostar's loss was tough for his immediate momentum, but he has already teased the kind of statement he will make at the expense of Dustin Rhodes when the time is right.

The TNT Championship is still likely in Fletcher's near-future.

Result

Fletcher def. Dorada by pinfall.

Notable Moments

- Fletcher came out to his new theme "Protostar" by Hot Mulligan, delivering full emo vibes.

- One of the best camera shots of the night was a single tracking view circling the ring as Fletcher and Dorada picked up the pace.

- Taz said these men had done more moves in one match than he did in his entire career.

- After his win, Fletcher warned Rhodes he was coming to take everything away from The Natural.

The Don Callis Family and Young Bucks vs. JetSpeed, Bandido and Brody King

3 of 9

Now called only Matt and Nick Jackson again, The Young Bucks had some trouble finding their footing after a tough loss at All In.

With Don Callis rooting them on, though, they clicked with Hechicero and Josh Alexander down the stretch and knocked out Bandido with superkicks right into Hechicero's El Conjuro for the technical submission.

This was unsurprisingly great, complete with fantastic follow-up to the Bucks losing the EVP titles immediately.

The home stretch was especially good. Matt and Nick rolled over everyone and looked like they had been working with Alexander and Hechicero for a long time.

This is the some of the best character work The Young Bucks have delivered in AEW in years, complete with impressive chemistry showcased again with JetSpeed.

These two men slowly falling into The Don Callis Family only to be betrayed at the right time is an intriguing story to follow through the rest of the year.

Result

Hechicero, Alexander and Young Bucks def. Bandido, King and JetSpeed by TKO.

Grade

- The Young Bucks arrived in a taxi, trying to avoid the camera.

- After the Jacksons were ambushed by Renee Paquette for an interview and mocked by Ricochet, Callis offered to help them get back on their feet.

- While Justin Roberts gave Matt and Jack a flat introduction, the Bucks came out to a home-video-style titantron and graphic mocking them for losing.

- Matt and Nick teased an EVP Trigger only to remember they are no longer EVPs and got distracted, allowing Kevin Knight to roll over them.

Cope Is Banned From Interfering with FTR

4 of 9

After Cope explained his intention to put an end to FTR, Stokely Hathaway explained that he would be fired if he got physically involved with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.

The Rated "R" Superstar took Hathaway's security and speared him.

This was a solid follow-up to All In. Cope made his intent clear and set a challenge to FTR that the heels are not looking to answer.

Cope did come off a bit overly arrogant as a face in a way that could become a problem down the line unless there is a plan for him to address his own faults in the future.

The threat of firing The Rated "R" Superstar is over the top, especially for a legend who is too valuable to AEW right now, but it's a compelling reason to keep the rivals apart until the right time.

It could even delay enough for a believable evolution by Christian Cage that would set up a tag team reunion.

Grade

C+

Notable Moments

- After four months away, the crowd did not forget the standard, singing "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge after the music ended for Cope's entrance.

- Cope explained that he did not come to save Christian or stop The Patriarchy, just to get after FTR.

- Stokely said three "anonymous" emails were sent to AEW, Tony Khan and WarnerMedia to complain about Cope's behavior.

- Later in the night in a pre-taped segment, Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne declared their true allegiance to "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne.

$100K 4-Way: Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale vs. Thekla vs. Queen Aminata

5 of 9

After Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale brawled to the back, Julia Hart misted Queen Aminata to set up Thekla for a Stomp to pick up the three-count and a big-money payout.

This was a perfect combination of hard-hitting women, highlighted especially by a star-making effort from Thekla throughout.

She looked like she was fully in her element throughout, and she was rewarded with a win and a potential new stable.

After about a month of teasing, it seems Hart, Skye Blue and Thekla will work together fully going forward. This is the right fit for The Toxic Spider going forward.

Willow and Statlander continue to deliver whenever they clash, and it feels like they will need to fight one-on-one again in a match that could resolve their rivalry.

Result

Thekla def. Aminata, Statlander and Willow by pinfall to earn $100,000.

Grade

A-

Notable Moments

- Aminata knocked Thekla into the Tree of Woe, but The Toxic Spider pulled herself back up for a Spider Suplex on Aminata.

- Willow hit Thekla with the Babe with the Bomb, but Statlander pulled referee Aubrey Edwards out of the ring before the three-count.

- The production lingered too long on Statlander and Willow brawling and missed Aminata sending Thekla off the top rope.

Athena Warns Toni Storm She is Coming for AEW Women's World Title

6 of 9

"Timeless" Toni Storm delivered a passionate victory speech that was interrupted by Athena and Billie Starkz.

The Fallen Goddess promised she was coming for the AEW Women's World Championship.

No one delivers promos quite like Storm, who had a wild series of rhymes to deliver in her final words to Mercedes Moné.

The way this was structured to set the stage for a rematch down the line but also moved onto the next woman up for The Timeless One.

It would have been nice to have Athena in the ring or even on the balcony with Storm for this moment, but it was still nice to get these two feuding.

Athena has the credibility and pedigree to dethrone Storm, so hopefully this is a match that comes on the right stage with the right spotlight.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments

- Storm announced Luther will be out of action due to a need for "reattachment" surgery.

- The Timeless One promised she was ready if The CEO stepped up to her again.

- After the segment, AEW announced Storm vs. Starkz for next week.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Rafael Quintero

7 of 9

Kazuchika Okada made quick work of local competitor Rafael Quintero with a Rainmaker and then called out Swerve Strickland, who stared him down with confidence.

It is so rare to see a one-minute squash like this in AEW. It wasn't necessary since Okada is so established, but at least it was over quick and got to the focus of the segment.

It seems Okada and Don Callis will remain aligned, which makes sense as Callis has also pulled in The Young Bucks to his side.

More importantly, Okada has turned his attention to Strickland, setting the stage for a huge unified title match likely at Forbidden Door.

This has the potential to be a match-of-the-year contender and has been a long time coming.

Result

Okada def. Quintero by pinfall.

Grade

C

Notable Moments

- Okada came out to a new theme: C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y by One OK Rock. It may take some time to get used to it, but it's an excellent song for an entrance.

- The Rainmaker made clear he was looking for revenge on behalf of his friends, The Young Bucks.

Adam Page, Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs vs. The Death Riders

8 of 9

Adam Page rallied his allies, Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs, to a successful win, catching Claudio Castagnoli after a Buckshot Lariat reversal with a roll-up for three.

Afterward, The Death Riders tried to beat down the babyfaces, but Darby Allin appeared in the rafters. The distraction allowed Hangman to buckshot Mox and stand tall.

In some ways, this match felt superfluous, but it was still fun. Mox and Hangman sold their pain from All In but kept fighting all the same.

The big moment of this segment was after the match as Allin appeared in the rafters, echoing his mentor, Sting. Moxley's fear in that moment put over The Daredevil in a big way.

Hopefully, this means The Cowboy will have a fresh challenger for Forbidden Door. A New Japan Pro-Wrestling or CMLL wrestler stepping up would be a great hook for the show.

Meanwhile, Allin can begin his promised destruction of The Death Riders in the style of Sting going after the nWo.

Result

Hangman, Hobbs and Briscoe def. Castagnoli, Mox and Yuta by pinfall.

Grade

B

Notable Moments

- In a pre-taped promo, alongside a boastful MVP and The Hurt Syndicate, MJF warned Hangman that he would ruin his dream and send him back into depression.

- Mox played this match shockingly safe to start, rarely tagging into the action and never for long.

- Hangman moonsaulted onto Castagnoli and then set up the Buckshot Lariat, but Moxley interrupted by biting the champion.

Overall Show

9 of 9

The Dynamite after All In wasn't a classic, but it was a well-paced night of action. The two hours with a bit of overrun flew by quickly.

"Hangman" Adam Page got to talk to the crowd to start and ended the night standing tall once again with his music playing.

Thekla got her biggest win off her best in-ring performance to date and established her new stable with Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

The Young Bucks instantly sold their new direction and delivered the match of the night alongside The Don Callis Family.

MJF and Athena clearly set their sights on the world titles while leaving bigger moments to come between them and the champions.

Cope laid out a clear path forward for his rivalry with FTR and likely realignment with Christian Cage.

Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada both looked like dominant forces to be feared in The Don Callis Family.

It was a building-block show that never lagged, even in the simpler moments. This will look great in the weeks to come if AEW makes the most of its Chicago residency and sets the foundation for Forbidden Door in the next two weeks.
