Scottie Pippen Jokes About NBA Finals Game 7, Won 6 Titles With Michael Jordan, Bulls
Scottie Pippen referenced his dominant Chicago Bulls tenure alongside Michael Jordan when discussing Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals in a social media post on Sunday.
Pippen and Jordan helped lead the Bulls to six championships in eight seasons from 1990-98, owning a perfect 6-0 record in the NBA Finals as a duo. In fact, the pair never played in Game 7 of the Finals during all six of their title runs.
The first championship victory during Chicago's dynasty contained a five-game win over the Los Angeles Lakers in 1991, while the Bulls' next five series wins in the Finals ended in six games.
The current clash between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder is the first Finals to reach Game 7 since 2016.
Indiana jumped out to a 2-1 series lead by stealing Game 1 on the road with a last-second jumper from Tyrese Haliburton, although Oklahoma City responded by winning the next two games to take a 3-2 edge.
The Pacers kept their season alive in Gainbridge Fieldhouse, defeating the Thunder 108-91 in Game 6 and forcing one more contest to decide a champion.
