Updated NBA Playoff Bracket 2025 Picture, Schedule As Warriors Eliminated, Celtics Win
The Indiana Pacers will have to wait to learn who they'll face in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Boston Celtics, even without star Jayson Tatum, extended the series to six games with a win over the New York Knicks.
The Minnesota Timberwolves became the first team to advance to the Western Conference Finals with a win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 5.
After Wednesday's games, here's a look at the upcoming schedule.
Thursday, May 15
Game 6: Oklahoma City Thunder at Denver Nuggets, 8:30 p.m. ET (OKC leads series 3-2)
Boston Celtics 127, New York Knicks 102

All signs pointed to the Knicks closing out the series against the Celtics in five games after Tatum suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Game 4, but Boston had other plans.
The Celtics were clicking on all cylinders, with Derrick White leading the way. The role player, who has become much more than just that in recent years, finished with 34 points, shooting 7-of-13 from deep in the win.
Though White was hitting from deep early, the Knicks kept things close and held the lead for much of the first half. The game went into the second half tied at 59.
After a neck-and-neck first half, the Celtics started to pull away in the third quarter. Boston went on a 16-3 run halfway through the quarter to give it plenty of breathing room heading into the fourth.
From there, it became a rout. The Celtics coasted through the fourth quarter, quickly turning a 10-point lead into a 20-point lead and eventually making the deficit too much to overcome, especially after Jalen Brunson fouled out halfway through the quarter.
Even without Tatum, Boston looked like a Finals contender, shooting 22-of-49 from deep and playing elite defense. Now, the question is whether the Celtics can play like that for two more games.
Minnesota Timberwolves 121, Golden State Warriors 110

With no Stephen Curry, the Warriors getting past the Timberwolves seemed a bit out of reach, and Minnesota officially ended Golden State's season with Wednesday's lead.
The Timberwolves came out hot and quickly put some distance between themselves and the Warriors. Julius Randle sparked some early momentum with 15 first half points and gave Minnesota a 15-point lead heading into the half.
Minnesota didn't cool off in the second half and managed to capitalize as the Warriors struggled to get their offense going. The Timberwolves led by 21 heading into the third quarter as things started to become out of reach for Golden State.
But with the season on the line, the Warriors didn't go away immediately. Golden State used an 8-0 run to cut into the lead early in the fourth.
The Warriors managed to cut it to single digits, but the Timberwolves had enough in the tank to close out the game.
Julius Randle led the way for Minnesota with 29 points, but it was a group effort as six players were in double figures. Now, Minnesota is on its way to a second consecutive Western Conference Finals.
