Jaden McDaniels Reportedly Won't Be Disciplined for Appearing to Trip Luka Doncic
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels reportedly won't be disciplined by the NBA after a tie-up with Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić on Tuesday, per USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt.
In Game 2 on Tuesday night, McDaniels attempted a fadeaway jump shot that was defended by Dončić. After falling to the ground, McDaniels appeared to trip Dončić as he started to make his way down the court.
McDaniels, who finished the game with eight points and five fouls while shooting 3-of-8 from the field, was not called for a foul on the play.

Brooks Wanted Dubs to Win 😈
Just two games into the series, there's already been plenty of back-and-forth between the Lakers and Timberwolves. Before the start of Game 2, Wolves star Anthony Edwards walked through Los Angeles' warmups and exchanged words with Dončić.
Edwards also picked up a $50,000 fine from the NBA after shouting some choice words at Lakers fans during Game 1.
Minnesota took Game 1 117-95 behind 25 points from McDaniels and 22 points from Edwards. Dončić put on a show with 37 points, but it wasn't enough to power Los Angeles to a win.
In Game 2, Dončić dropped 31 to lead the Lakers to a 94-85 win despite 25 points from Edwards. Los Angeles was in control for most of the game, but the Timberwolves managed to cut the lead to single digits in the final minutes. Ultimately, Minnesota came up short in completing the comeback.
Now, the series heads to Minnesota tied at one game apiece. There's been no shortage of entertainment thus far, and that shouldn't change in Game 3 on Friday.
