
Kemba Walker Reportedly Joins Ice Cube's BIG3, PG Made 4 NBA All-Star Teams
Former NBA All-Star Kemba Walker is returning to the court this summer as part of the BIG3.
Per NBA insider Chris Haynes, Walker has reached agreement to join the three-on-three league for the 2025 season.
Walker, a four-time All-Star in the NBA, officially retired from professional basketball in July 2024. He played his final season with AS Monaco in the EuroLeague during the 2023-24 campaign.

Originally drafted ninth overall by the Charlotte Bobcats in 2011, Walker played 12 seasons in the NBA. He spent the first eight years of his career in Charlotte, leaving the franchise as its all-time leader in minutes played, field goals and total points.
After missing the playoffs in each of his final three seasons in Charlotte, Walker joined the Boston Celtics as a free agent in the summer of 2019. He helped them reach the Eastern Conference Finals in his first year with the club.
The Celtics traded Walker to the Oklahoma City Thunder in June 2021. He became a free agent two months after reaching an agreement on a buyout with the Thunder.
Walker returned to his hometown when he signed with the New York Knicks prior to the start of the 2021-22 season, but a knee injury limited him to just 37 games.
The Dallas Mavericks added Walker on a non-guaranteed contract in November 2022. He appeared in nine games, scoring a season-high 32 points in an overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, before being waived on Jan. 6, 2023.
It's unclear what team Walker will play for in the BIG3. The league recently announced a new team lineup with eight city-based clubs for the 2025 season.
Walker joins Dwight Howard as new players to the Big3 for the upcoming season. The league officially announced Howard's signing on April 9.
This will mark the eighth season for the BIG3, with games tipping off on June 14.
