Jey Uso, John Cena and Superstars Guaranteed to Win at WWE WrestleMania 41

Graham GSM MatthewsMar 23, 2025

WWE is in the process of putting together a loaded lineup for WrestleMania 41 that will be star-studded across two nights with some matches being more appealing than others.

Although the builds to certain bouts have been lacking, the overall card does have potential, and the Road to WrestleMania has had a number of twists and turns that have kept viewers eagerly anticipating what's left to come.

One month out from Las Vegas, there's no telling what the results of WrestleMania will entail exactly, though there are a few outcomes that should be considered set in stone.

The Show of Shows is typically where WWE culminates stories and year-long arcs in addition to delivering monumental moments. Last year's installment achieved that exceptionally well and WrestleMania 41 should be no exception.

The predictability of select matchups won't take away from the excitement of the event, especially with the execution of each outcome remaining in question.

These are the Superstars guaranteed to win at Allegiant Stadium in Sin City come April 19-20.

Jey Uso

Despite the many high-profile losses he's endured in recent years, Jey Uso's stock as a singles star has skyrocketed.

Having been a fixture toward the top of the card for a while, it was only a matter of time before he finally won when it mattered most.

Uso defied the odds to reign supreme in the men's Royal Rumble match on Feb. 1 to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 41 for another World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against Gunther.

The tag team specialist previously failed to unseat The Ring General for the gold at Saturday Night's Main Event in late January, so it's only appropriate he avenges that loss by beating him at 'Mania.

Uso may not be a world champion-caliber competitor on the surface, but his immense popularity suggests otherwise. Even if it's a brief reign, he must emerge from The Show of Shows as champ in order to salvage whatever credibility he has left.

If it's a competitive contest—and there's no reason to think it won't be—then Gunther will lose nothing in defeat. Uso taking the title following a hard-fought battle has the makings of a major WrestleMania moment.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is far from the focal point of WWE programming that he was this time a year ago when he was in hot pursuit of the World Heavyweight Championship and in embroiled in a heated feud with Seth Rollins.

Even after capturing the prize at 'Mania, he had an excellent remainder of the year while feuding with CM Punk. He's lost a lot more frequently as of late and won't be anywhere near the main event scene as WrestleMania 41 approaches.

Instead, he finds himself in a midcard feud with Damian Priest, who bested him on three separate occasions in 2024 when the world heavyweight title was on the line. Although The Archer of Infamy can prove himself with a clean win at 'Mania, the Scot has a lot more to gain from going over when they wage war.

WWE's plans for Priest post-WrestleMania are unknown, whereas McIntyre reentering world championship contention is entirely possible.

Their match will undoubtedly be enjoyable from an in-ring standpoint, but it's imperative The Scottish Warrior has his hand raised in the end to ensure he returns to main event glory before long.

Bianca Belair

3 of 5

WWE's booking of the Women's World Championship since Rhea Ripley dethroned Liv Morgan on Raw's Netflix premiere in early January has been questionable, to say the least.

Ripley's reign was hardly eventful, which is why Iyo Sky defeating her for the title on the March 3 edition of Raw was such a pleasant surprise. A Triple Threat also involving Bianca Belair is clearly the direction WWE is headed in, but the route it's taking to get there is devoid of any real creativity.

Regardless, Belair leaving 'Mania as the new champion would be the best-case scenario.

Sky already feels like the afterthought and there would be nothing out of the ordinary about Ripley regaining the gold. Meanwhile, The EST of WWE has been away from challenging for singles gold for the last two years and would be a welcome addition to the Women's World Championship scene.

She's also in desperate need of a heel turn and somehow stealing the win from either Ripley or Sky at WrestleMania would get her one step closer toward that.

Belair has boasted in the past about being undefeated on The Grandest Stage of Them All, and that streak shouldn't be broken at this year's event.

Randy Orton

4 of 5

Randy Orton returned at Elimination Chamber on March 1 with one goal in mind: to exact revenge on Kevin Owens for sidelining him from action with a piledriver in November, specifically by punting his head clean off his shoulders.

The Viper promised as much in a verbal exchange with Owens on Friday's SmackDown before their match was made official for WrestleMania 41. It will be a standard singles affair as of now, but a stipulation would make sense given the nature of the feud they've had up to this point.

KO could somehow sneak a win the same way he did at Elimination Chamber against Sami Zayn, but all signs point to it being a big night for Orton instead.

Orton and Owens are both established enough that a loss for either wouldn't make much difference in the long run.

For The Apex Predator in particular, a victory would put him in prime position to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship coming out of the event, especially with Backlash on May 10 emanating from his native St. Louis.

There's no need for their story to extend beyond 'Mania. Orton must settle his score with Owens by annihilating him with his patented punt kick and taking him out of commission indefinitely before moving on to other opponents.

John Cena

5 of 5

Any other outcome to the Undisputed WWE Championship clash than John Cena securing the title would be booking malpractice.

His marquee match with Cody Rhodes was a tad more unpredictable when Cena was still a babyface. It would have been believable for him to do the honors for The American Nightmare, endorse him afterward and continue the chase for his record-setting 17th world championship.

However, the veteran's heel turn at Elimination Chamber automatically meant he was winning at WrestleMania 41 as it would be extremely damaging to both him and Rhodes if the champion retained.

Cutting Cena's momentum short with a loss to Rhodes would end whatever potential this heel run for him has. Additionally, The American Nightmare has been champion long enough that ending his run at the same show he won it at exactly one year later would set up his next story in the immediate aftermath of the event.

A history-making title win for a heel Cena would be the strongest possible conclusion to the event, no matter how obvious it may seem.
