The former No. 2 pick in the 2012 draft shot 2-of-6 from the field and 0-of-2 from beyond the arc on Sunday, finishing with a -12 while on the court.

In Beal's second season with the Suns, he is averaging 17.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists on 50.6 percent shooting from the field.

Beal was previously dealing with a calf injury, first missing time on Feb. 27 against the New Orleans Pelicans and sitting out nearly four games while managing it.

The Suns, with their trio of Beal, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker struggled in the first half, combining to shoot 0-of-8 from three-point range and 7-of-24 from the field, totaling just 17 points.

The Suns as a whole have had a disappointing season, posting a 31-36 record and sitting in 11th place, outside of play-in tournament contention. Entering Sunday, they had gone 4-6 over their last 10 games.
