Elite 11 2015: Finals Schedule, Dates, Events and Trent Dilfer's QB Roster
The next generation of collegiate quarterback talent takes center stage this week at the 2015 Elite 11.
There, 18 quarterbacks cap off The Opening in individual drills, competitive coaching sessions and a seven-on-seven tournament for the ages. The country's best quarterbacks join a growing crop of talent to travel the same path, headlined by names such as Matthew Stafford and Jameis Winston.
While a few of the quarterbacks are committed to schools, the eyes of the globe will watch as some of the most sought-after recruits duke it out at one of the nation's marquee events.

Prospects to Watch
Jacob Eason, Lake Stevens (Washington)
A 5-star recruit at 247Sports, Jacob Eason might be the main attraction of this weekend's event.
A pro-style quarterback, Eason gets it done on the field with a booming arm. Last year alone he threw for 2,829 yards and 32 touchdowns to just three interceptions.
If there's one quarterback following quite well in Stafford's footsteps, it's Eason, a Georgia commit. Elite11 provided a look at his workout sessions:
The expectations in Athens are through the roof for obvious reasons. Tall in the pocket at 6'5" and 205 pounds, Eason features an ability to read defenses and take care of the football not found in most players his age.
This talent will be hard to miss in Oregon as soon as he takes the Elite 11 by storm.
Shea Patterson, Calvary Baptist (Louisiana)
Call it the year of pro-style quarterbacks.
Shea Patterson carries the same star rank as Eason and slots just behind him on the overall board. At 6'2" and 195 pounds, he features a collegiate-ready body, too.
Patterson isn't a stranger to posting monster numbers, either, owning 2,428 yards and 38 touchdowns to three interceptions last year alone—the second consecutive year he threw north of 30 touchdowns.
What helps Patterson stand out is his mobility in the pocket, something college and pro offenses look for in a big way thanks to the ever-developing athleticism of defenses and players.
Courtney Cronin of the Clarion-Ledger captures just one instance of his quickness and swift release:
It won't be hard to see Patterson in the crowd of elite prospects, either. He's a sheer passing talent like the rest but quick enough in the pocket to stand out, extend plays and convert the big one.
Malik Henry
The third-ranked pro-style quarterback behind the above names? That's Malik Henry, who continues to bounce around the country and featured a list of schools chasing him such as Florida State, Ohio State and Notre Dame, to name a few.
As for a recruiting update, Henry says his sudden transfer from IMG Academy won't alter his commitment to Florida State, per Safid Deen of the Tallahassee Democrat: "This will have no bearing on my commitment to Florida State..," Henry said. "I am still firmly committed to FSU and I look forward to a bright future there."
On the actual playing field this week in Oregon, it will prove impossible to miss Henry, who has a penchant for producing splash plays from the pocket or with his feet if pressured.
Featuring the talent to outright steal the show, one of the most interesting names in the 2016 class remains Henry, who could use the grand scale of the event to leap to bigger things.
