10 Kids Looking Like Their Favorite Athletes
It wouldn't be easy to pull off a spot-on "Birdman" Andersen costume, but one little Miami Heat fan did it—tattoos and all.
Some of these kids dressed up like their favorite athletes on purpose, and others just happen to bear a striking resemblance. Either way, let's take a look at just how uncanny (and adorable) some of the similarities are.
Honorable Mention: Coaches
This gets an honorable mention because we are talking athletes here, and frankly, kids as coaches could have their own list. However, something about little kids dressing up like old, grizzled football coaches is simultaneously adorable and hilarious. So, you're welcome, for including this.
Halloween 2013 produced some spot-on coach costumes. Baby Andy Reid might've been the best, but tiny Bill Belichick and little Mike Ditka were right up there, too.
Stephen Curry
NBA forward Matt Barnes played for the Los Angeles Clippers until he was traded to Charlotte and then to Memphis.
Barnes' kids recently had a "dress up like someone you look up to" day at school. You would think two kids who have a professional athlete for a dad would choose him for such an occasion. Barnes' son, Carter, got the memo, sporting a No. 22 Clippers jersey, but Carter's twin brother, Isaiah, went with NBA MVP Stephen Curry.
Jameis Winston

Jimbo Fisher was Jameis Winston's coach at Florida State. The two won a national championship together and seemingly had a good relationship. The coach always stood up for Winston amid off-field issues.
In 2014, Fisher's son, Trey, had a "Superhero Day" at his school and chose to go as Winston.
Joe Montana
Tom Brady's childhood idol was Joe Montana—not a bad quarterback hero to choose. Brady reinforced this fact in January, posting a photo of himself as a youngster dressed up like Joe Cool in his San Francisco 49ers gear.
James Harden
Dressing up like James Harden would not be that difficult—just throw on a Houston Rockets jersey and a fake beard. However, athlete costumes are always cuter when worn by kids. At a February away game against the Phoenix Suns, this young fan completely nailed the Harden look.
WWE Stars
As anyone who has ever been around small children knows, it's not easy to get them to sit still. However, the WWE successfully got several little cuties to dress up like famous wrestlers and divas in honor of Mother's Day. There were little Bella Twins, a mini John Cena and even an adorable Hulk Hogan look-alike, complete with feather boas.
Johnny Manziel
For Halloween 2013, this young lad chose to do a "Johnny Manziel two ways" costume. (Or more likely, his parents came up with the idea.) He wore the Heisman Trophy winner's Texas A&M jersey, but he also sported a Scooby Doo outfit. This might seem random until you see a totally separate photo of Manziel dressed in a strikingly similar Scooby suit. Well done, kid.
Richard Sherman and Erin Andrews
In October, the Wall Street Journal did a piece on sports-related Halloween costumes. Two kids perfectly impersonated Richard Sherman and Erin Andrews, reviving their infamous post-NFC Championship Game interview. Andrews herself retweeted the photo—it's safe to say she dug it.
Thiago Silva and David Luiz
Thiago Silva and David Luiz each play for the Brazilian national soccer team. During the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, two youngsters who look exactly like the professional footballers came to the attention of the Interwebs. It's uncanny, really.
The two boys—Lyan and Murilo—became so popular, Brazil invited them to serve as mascots at a recent friendly against Mexico.
Ronda Rousey
UFC champion Ronda Rousey has a lot of young female fans, as evidenced by 2014 Halloween costumes. Rousey posted several examples to her Instagram account, summarized in this video from UFC on Fox Sports. All are awesome costumes, but this girl with the hoodie and headphones really nailed it.
Chris "Birdman" Andersen
It can't be easy to flawlessly execute a Chris "Birdman" Andersen costume, but one kid absolutely nailed it during the 2014 NBA playoffs. The Mohawk, the tattoos—he had it all.
