IPL 2015: Top Run-Scorers, Averages and Rankings for Leading T20 Bowlers
Mumbai Indians continued their fantastic Indian Premier League form with a six-wicket win over league-leaders Chennai Super Kings. Ambati Rayudu and Hardik Pandya played a fantastic 19th over that turned the chase on its head, leading to an unexpected win with just four balls remaining.
Chennai's total of 158 looked safe when the Indians started the 19th innings needing 30 runs from 12 balls, but Pawan Negi was shelled in the over, giving up four sixes that changed the entire outlook of the match.
After a dreadful start to the season, Mumbai have won five straight going into an all-important match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, with the winner likely qualifying for the play-offs.

Ambati Rayudu, Hardik Pandya Save The Day
Ravichandran Ashwin deserves a mention for his two timely wickets that kept Mumbai's chase in check, but ultimately, Friday's heroes played for the Indians. Ambati Rayudu and Hardik Pandya formed an unexpected partnership that ultimately kept Mumbai's win streak alive, largely thanks to one vital over.
Needing 30 more runs from 12 balls, the duo almost ridiculed PAwan Negi, hitting four sixes to set up an easy final over, where Rayudu scored the winning runs on another boundary. As shared by Wisden India, Mumbai escaped by the skin of their teeth thanks to the duo:
"#CSK applied the choke superbly, only for Rayudu, Pandya to help #MI pull off a late heist. @lk_karthik reports: http://t.co/ehWp3XB48m
— Wisden India (@WisdenIndia) May 8, 2015"
Rayudu finished his afternoon with 34 from 19, whiel Pandya exploded in the final overs, scoring 21 from eight. On a day where Kieron Pollard fell well short of the expectations and Rohit Sharma failed to build on the opening partnership of Lendl Simmons and Parthiv Patel, the duo stepped up in a big way.
As unlikely as this may have sounded only two weeks ago, Mumbai are heating up at just the right time and have an excellent chance of qualifying for the play-offs. The upcoming match against Royal Challengers Bangalore could prove decisive, pitting two of the most in-form teams against each other.
