Saying Good Bye to the Tedy Bruschi Aura
As of today, Tedy Bruschi is no longer an NFL player. Rumor says he was going to be cut so he opted to retire with his head high on his and the Patriots’ shoulders. Since the sports fan will likely be flooded with glowing tributes about Tedy Bruschi the player and man, I’m going to take a different route. See the words of a former Patriots employee.
Tedy Bruschi is much more popular with the fans than he is with his teammates. He isn’t the team leader people think he is. Actually, Bruschi rarely talks to any of his teammates. He and Mike Vrabel used to be close but they rarely interact anymore either. Bruschi is just an unlikable person in general and I think his teammates know what’s what and get sick of his act. He created an image that he presents to the public but his teammates know better. The real leaders of the Patriots are Tom Brady, Matt Light, Richard Seymour and the top guy, Rodney Harrison. Harrison is actually one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet off the field, which is a total contrast to his sometimes dirty play on it.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Keep that in mind when you’re doing your snow-angels, Bristol.
And be sure you listen to this at some point today. It’s a fantastic spoof of what the sports world was like when Bruschi returned to the game eight months after a stroke in 2005. CLICK HERE
Finally, I still say Bruschi missed out on a golden opportunity back when he came back from said stroke.
If Tedy was like Lance Armstrong, he’d be exploiting himself for all that he’s worth. Since he hasn’t hopped on the idea yet, let me be the first to organize the Tedy Bruschi TackleStrong Foundation. Basically the foundation is nothing more than a few people making wrist bands in New England Patriot colors. Throw in a “54” on the interior of the bracelet with the words “Savvy Football Player… Tackle Strong,” on the outside of the bracelet and you’ve got yourself millions of dollars.
We wouldn’t have to shell out any cash for endorsers and promotion as the ESPN Sunday Night Crew would do everything for free. But if for some reason sales happen to stall, we can look to the master endorser Mark Schlereth for some good promotion: “When you look at this bracelet, this is a bracelet that you wear on your wrist. This is a bracelet that’s savvy, stylish, and knows how to impress the opposition. Tedy Bruschi is a savvy football player and when you strap on TackleStrong, the increase in savvy will be felt by everyone around you.”
