Chelsea and City are arguably the two best youth sides in English football at present, making this Youth Cup Final important in deciding who truly has the current greatest squad.
In a closely fought first leg, the Blues edged out the young City contingent with a sting in the tail, as they won 3-1 at the Academy Stadium.
Despite the loss, it was City who remained on the front foot for most of the game before their opponents showed their ability and took the decisive advantage.

Chelsea wrestled the lead through the impressive Tammy Abraham, before the home side equalised just two minutes later with a goal by Isaac Buckley.
Chelsea restored their advantage on 20 minutes, as the brilliant Abraham grabbed his second goal of the proceedings, giving the visitors a 2-1 half-time lead.
And just as City thought they would attain a late equaliser, Dominic Solanke finished clinically to break home team hearts, and close out the match.
Despite their disappointment, Isaac was happy with his team's performance and remains confident going into Monday's second-leg, per City's official website:
"I don’t think there was much difference between the two teams in the first leg. Both of us like to play good football, so in the end it was just about taking our chances and manipulating the ball.
Jason [Wilcox] told us after full time that it’s not over yet and we mustn’t lose hope, because we can still win the tie. It was really positive in the dressing room and no one was too down about the loss—we still have a lot of time to go.
"

Aaron Nemane was at the heart of most of City's good work in the attacking third, and he will be coach Jason Wilcox's main threat at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea's youth team is packed with young stars, and Liam Twomey of Goal.com believes many of the squad will now force their way into the Special One's plans for next term:
"Making Chelsea the best team in England again will shield Mourinho from immediate criticism; by hook or by crook he has achieved his primary objective this season. But if the Special One truly wants to transform his phenomenal CV into something more than a monument to his own genius, he must give the club’s all-conquering youngsters his faith as well as his word.
"
But despite Chelsea's excellence, City have the depth to cause a shock at the Bridge—and embarrass Mourinho and his young starlets.
The Etihad club will be desperate to see some kind of success come from such a disappointing campaign for the senior side, and an FA Youth Cup win in Chelsea's own back yard would be a fantastic antidote.
However, Chelsea hold all the cards going into the second leg, and they should comfortably win at home to retain their trophy.
Second-leg prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City
