IPL 2015: Table of Top Run-Scorers, Averages, Bowlers After April 26 Fixtures
The highly anticipated clash between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders was cancelled without a single ball being bowled due to heavy rains in Kolkata, but Royal Challengers Bangalore's 10-wicket demolition of Delhi Daredevils still gave Indian Premier League fans plenty of reasons to cheer on Sunday.
Between Mitchell Starc's brilliance with the ball and Chris Gayle's fantastic partnership with Virat Kohli, Bangalore looked nothing like the team that languished in last place earlier this season.
The big win means Bangalore were able to boost their net run rate for the second consecutive match, and the team now sits fourth in the IPL standings, just one point behind Kolkata.
Here are your top statistical performers from this year's IPL after Sunday's action.

The Entire Bangalore Squad
This almost feels like cheating, but it's virtually impossible to isolate a single player who shone the most during Bangalore's demolition of Delhi. Between Mitchell Starc's fantastic innings (three wickets, 20 runs in four overs), Varun Aaron's contributions (two wickets, 24 runs) and the duo of Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli, everyone played their best cricket.
ESPN Cricinfo's Freddie Wilde agreed even if Starc will soak up the headlines with his performance:
"There's more to #RCB's recovery than just Starc; the way Kohli batted v #CSK; & today's bowling - it's been collective. #IPL #DDvRCB #DD
— Freddie Wilde (@fwildecricket) April 26, 2015"
Gayle and Kohli were faced with a fairly easy challenge, chasing down a target of just 96. But the duo looked comfortable and in full control throughout the chase, and both ended with strike rates over 150.
The fact that Imran Tahir and JP Duminy failed to pick up any wickets should boost Bangalore's momentum tremendously. It would have been tempting to turn the chase into a run-fest, sacrificing patience and one or two wickets for spectacular boundaries, but they didn't.
With the ball in hand, Aaron's 24 runs conceded was the highest of any bowler, as was his economy rate of 6.00. That's incredible, especially given the fact Harshal Patel, David Wiese and Iqbal Abdulla all bowled more than three overs.
Bangalore were something of a laughingstock during the first week of the 2015 IPL season, but no one's laughing now. Royal Challengers are the real deal, and if they can keep up this momentum, they'll be a force to be reckoned with once the play-offs start.
