Final Four 2015 Schedule: TV Info and Updated Bracket for NCAA Showdowns

Kenny DeJohnMar 31, 2015

There are only three games remaining in the 2014-15 college basketball campaign, and each one figures to be better than the last.

That's simply how the 2015 NCAA tournament has gone thus far. There have been very few letdowns in terms of competitiveness or excitement, with a plethora of storylines and personalities leading the charge in what has been one of the most compelling tourneys in recent memory.

Only Kentucky, Wisconsin, Duke and Michigan State remain. The Spartans are the lone non-No. 1 seed. Naturally, the No. 7 Spartans have the lowest probably of winning the NCAA title, according to ESPN Stats & Info:

No. 1 Kentucky vs. No. 1 Wisconsin

The undefeated juggernaut known as Kentucky was almost met with defeat in the Elite Eight, as Notre Dame gave the Wildcats an incredible test ahead of the Final Four. While some will note this game as a sign of Kentucky's weakness, others will suggest that the Wildcats are now a stronger club for winning such a hotly contested game.

SI.com's Ted Keith writes about why this upcoming game is destined to be a shootout in the late minutes:

"

Kentucky leads the nation in adjusted defensive efficiency. Wisconsin leads the nation in adjusted offensive efficiency. Both teams put those traits on display en route to the Final Four. The Wildcats have held NCAA tournament opponents to 32.8% field goal shooting and 20.3% from three-point range. The Badgers have shot 49.8% from the field in the tourney and 41.6% from three. Both teams have already vanquished an opponent that threatened to cancel out their supposed advantage. Wisconsin blitzed Arizona, which was third in the nation in defensive efficiency, by shooting 80% in the second half of the West Regional final. And Kentucky stymied Notre Dame, which was second in the nation in offensive efficiency, holding the Irish to 28.6% three-point shooting to escape in the Midwest Regional final.

"

A matchup of the top defense and top offense in terms of efficiency is sure to result in a power struggle.

But Kentucky has proved its worth against the Irish, an incredibly talented offensive team. Sure, the Wildcats just barely defeated the No. 2 team in offensive efficiency. This would indicate that Wisconsin has a puncher's chance.

Frank Kaminsky is truly the key to this game, both in terms of offense and defense. The fact that he's the key on offense is obvious. The senior has led the Badgers with 18.2 points per game and a 54.9 percent mark from the floor. Naturally, Kentucky will hone in on him and force Nigel Hayes and Sam Dekker to produce.

It's Kaminsky's defense that's going to be the X-factor for Wisconsin. He's 7'0", making him one of the biggest bodies Willie Cauley-Stein and Karl-Anthony Towns will have to bump with in this tournament to date. Couple in the fact that he's 242 pounds, and it appears as if he should be physical enough to contain Kentucky's two bigs.

However, WalterFootball.com notes that Kaminsky "lacks the true physicality and toughness of a typical NBA center," so he could have a tough time defending two big men who figure to go early in the NBA draft.

There hasn't been a team capable of stopping this juggernaut yet. Will Wisconsin be the first to knock the Wildcats off? This will likely be John Calipari's toughest challenge this season.

No. 7 Michigan State vs. No. 1 Duke

Don't underestimate Tom Izzo.

That has been the mantra bracketologists have preached since the Spartans began this impressive run from an iffy No. 7 seed to the Final Four.

USA Today's Nicole Auerbach tracked the team's success since the beginning of March:

"

The Spartans, seeded seventh, knocked out the No. 2, 3 and 4 seeds in the East region. ('I'm not going to apologize for that any way, shape, or form,' Izzo said.) Led by a coach who has built a legacy on milking the most out of his teams in March, Michigan State has lost to just one team this month — Wisconsin, which is also Final Four-bound.

"

There's a tall task ahead, though. Duke is nearly unstoppable in these scenarios, as noted by ESPN College BBall:

Justise Winslow has perhaps been the best player in this tournament for the Blue Devils, as he has scored at least 13 points and grabbed at least five rebounds in his last three games. He has recorded double-doubles in two of his last three contests.

That speaks volumes about Duke, as Jahlil Okafor is the team's top star and is also in the running for the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. He has been just so-so in the past two games, scoring a total of 15 points and grabbing a total of 16 boards.

Izzo's squad must contain both Okafor and Winslow, which won't be an easy task.

The Spartans have been one of the hottest stories of the tournament, and only this recent run of theirs gives them a real chance at competing with Duke.
