Final Four 2015 Schedule: Game Times, TV Info, Live Streaming and More

Andrew GouldMar 30, 2015

The 68-team NCAA tournament is down to four contestants. Those remaining squads must wait five days before fighting for the championship in this year's Final Four.

To nobody's surprise, Kentucky is one of those four squads. Yet that's discrediting Notre Dame, who took the Wildcats to the wire during an epic Elite Eight showdown.

Nevertheless, the undefeated Wildcats now protect their perfect record against Wisconsin, a fellow No. 1 seed with a stellar offense to match Kentucky's incredible defense. Expect another close call.

The winner will face Duke or Michigan State for all the marbles on April 6. Although the Spartans are by far the lowest seed left at No. 7, nobody is about to paint Tom Izzo's squad as a Cinderella story heading into the Final Four.

Kentucky vs. Wisconsin

With their backs against the wall, the Wildcats maintained perfection with a perfect finish. ESPN Stats & Info measured their strong conclusion to a 68-66 Elite Eight victory over the Fighting Irish:

They can thank Karl-Anthony Towns, who took over in the paint en route to tallying a career-high 25 points. Back to ESPN Stats & Info for the damage:

On any other team, Towns would obliterate the opposition on a regular basis. On the stacked Wildcats, he takes 6.4 shots per game, sharing the load until the right matchup strikes or when the team's in danger. Both were the case against Notre Dame.

Fellow freshman Tyler Ulis praised Towns' progression to Ben Roberts of the Lexington Herald-Ledger.

"He needed to get a little tougher. Listen a little more," Ulis said. "And he's doing it now. That's what's special about him as a player. Even though he's a great player, he listened, fought through it, and just did what we needed him to do for the team. He carried us and made big-time plays."

Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker are now waiting as the next challengers. Kaminsky dropped 29 on Arizona, while Dekker offered 27 with a 20-point second half, giving him 21.8 points per game this tournament.

This sets up a monster clash between Kentucky's No. 1-rated defense and Wisconsin's top-ranked offense. Both teams just conquered adversaries who excel on the other side, as Wisconsin mustered 85 points on Arizona's No. 3 defense while Kentucky limited Notre Dame's No. 2 offense to 66.

Not far off from perfection at 35-3, the Badgers are well equipped to give the Wildcats another scare. Along with their prolific offense, they bring more size and more efficient defense to the table than Notre Dame.

But Kentucky is still Kentucky, and it can always just feed Towns when things get dicey.

Duke vs. Michigan State

SYRACUSE, NY - MARCH 29: Alvin Ellis III #3 and Marvin Clark Jr. #0 of the Michigan State Spartans celebrate defeating the Louisville Cardinals 76 to 70 in overtime of the East Regional Final of the 2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at Carrier Dome o

In hindsight, it's especially easy to say the Spartans deserved better than a No. 7 seed. Despite suffering 11 losses, they rank No. 15 in overall team efficiency and No. 16 in ESPN's Basketball Power Index (BPI).

After surviving an overtime thriller over Louisville, Michigan State advanced to its seventh Final Four under Izzo's watch. Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman noted the team's remarkable success in close games following the six-point win.

It took four single-digit victories to conquer the East region, averaging a 5.8 margin of victory. Izzo's coaching pedigree and upperclassmen leaders provide some advantage in tight contests, but winning close is a tough formula to sustain.

Especially against a formidable foe in Duke, who topped No. 2 Gonzaga by 14 points in its third double-digit victory this tournament. The Blue Devils sport a 17-point average scoring differential through four March Madness bouts.

Although Duke doesn't carry much depth behind a young starting lineup, it's far from dependent on Jahlil Okafor, who scored six points against Utah and nine on Gonzaga. Still, it'd sure be nice to get more from the future top draft pick.

When the two sides met on Nov. 18, the Blue Devils earned an 81-71 win behind 17 points from Okafor and 19 from Quinn Cook. The Spartans especially can't afford to replicate their 5-of-20 outing from downtown.
