Manchester Police Troll Steven Gerrard's Chelsea Slip on Twitter
All it takes is for the "S-word" to be dropped, and any non-Liverpool fans will pounce.
The latest example: a Twitter account that represents the Greater Manchester police.
It started with an innocuous tweet from the account that represents the city centre branch of the department.

Of course, with the mere mention of the word "slip," Manchester United fans, still riding high from their massive 2-1 victory over Liverpool, jumped on Steven Gerrard.
And the police played along. No love lost between the north-west's great rivalry, even among police forces.

"@liamedwardsMUFC Insp S; trust me, it's wasn't Steve Gerrard!

Any "slip" mentions, of course, are a reference to his infamous slip against Chelsea that led to Demba Ba's winner at Anfield.
