Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: Analyzing Reports from Both Fighters' Training Camps
Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao is still over a month away, but news from their respective camps is still dominating the boxing scene.
Mayweather has reportedly fared well against a notable southpaw sparring partner as Money prepares for Pacquiao's left-handed attack. According to David Mayo of MLive.com, Mayweather has a wealth of left-handed sparring partners in his camp.
That includes former 140-pound and 147-pound champion Zab "Super" Judah.
The early news, though it doesn't come from an objective source, is that Mayweather dominated Judah in their early sparring session.
Mayo quotes Mayweather's uncle, Jeff Mayweather, as saying, "Everybody was just hyped because they thought Judah was going to be something different, but Judah was worse than the other guys. It seemed like Floyd had something personal against him. He beat the (bleep) out of him. So then he quit, he let Judah off the hook, because Judah's got a fight coming up and he messed his eye up."

Mayweather faced Judah previously back in 2006.
While Judah gave Money some problems in the first five rounds of that fight, Mayweather dismantled him the rest of the way to earn the decision victory. Because of that, it's not totally unbelievable that Money would get the best of Judah in a sparring session, though we have to take Jeff Mayweather's account with a grain of salt.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao is working hard in his camp as well.
In the video below from Pacman Philippines, Pac-Man shows off his amazing hand speed:
Recently, Pacquiao was visited in his training camp by former and aspiring NFL quarterback Tim Tebow. The two are both devout Christians, and Pacquiao took to Instagram to welcome him:
Tebow's parents were Christian missionaries, and he was was born in the Philippines. It's normal for celebrities and other athletes who are friendly with fighters to visit training camps. In the case of the Mayweather and Pacquiao camps, any event or happening is going to be deemed newsworthy.
The hype for this fight is real.
