Friday delivered the expected version of March Madness, as two No. 14 seeds, Georgia State and UAB, emerged victorious to headline a day that was chock-full of upsets and buzzer-beaters. Saturday's madness completely flipped the script, as 15 of the day's 16 games resulted in big wins for the favorites.
Will that trend continue over the weekend, or will the NCAA tournament get back to the head-spinning results and nail-biting finishes we've all come to know and love? Well, the answer to that question remains unknown, but we can always speculate.

Saturday's Game to Watch
No. 4 North Carolina vs. No. 5 Arkansas

The Tar Heels have been a very enigmatic team of late, defeating both Louisville and Virginia in the ACC tournament before falling to Notre Dame and starting the NCAA tournament with a unimpressive showing against Harvard, downing the Crimson 67-65.
Mistakes plagued North Carolina during its tournament opener, as the team tallied a whopping 17 turnovers. That led to more scoring opportunities for Harvard and was an enormous reason why the game resulted in such a close margin.
Still, North Carolina received a brilliant showing from Justin Jackson and Co., as the team shot 55.1 percent from the floor while racking up 35 rebounds and 14 assists. The Tar Heels also held the Crimson to just 38.2 percent from the field as a team despite a solid 8-of-14 performance from guard Wesley Saunders.
Arkansas, on the other hand, entered the tournament on the heels of a loss to Kentucky but didn't do much to right the ship in its tournament opener, defeating Wofford 56-53. The Razorbacks escaped a slow-paced game in which the Terriers came away with nine more field-goal attempts but only shot 31.6 percent from the floor.
Luckily for the Razorbacks, Wofford ranks No. 71 in the nation in shooting percentage. Against a team with a more capable offense, those numbers would have likely resulted in an Arkansas loss. If adjustments aren't made before taking on a very capable scoring team in North Carolina, the Razorbacks' next contest won't come with a favorable result.
While both of these teams must improve in certain areas before facing off in the round of 32, North Carolina's woes are easily fixed. That gives the Tar Heels the advantage here.
Prediction: North Carolina 68, Arkansas 63
Sunday's Game to Watch
No. 4 Maryland vs. No. 5 West Virginia

Following a tough loss to Michigan State in the Big Ten tournament, Maryland limped into the Big Dance and just barely escaped with a victory over Valparaiso. The Terrapins' ongoing trend continued, as Melo Trimble and Dez Wells provided practically all of the offense, as the remainder of the starting five totaled just 12 points.
Both Trimble and Wells produced solid days, each coming away with 14 points and shooting well from all over the court; however, there were deficiencies in other departments, as the team continues to struggle to accumulate rebounds and move the ball around well enough on the offensive end of the court.
Although, Maryland's defense held up well on the interior against the Crusaders. Damonte Dodd came away with four blocks, the Terrapins hauled in 30 defensive rebounds, and Valparaiso was held to shoot just 35.7 percent from the floor.
West Virginia met its match against a solid Buffalo team, as the two squads put up very similar shooting, rebounding and facilitating numbers. Forward Devin Williams was the catalyst for the Mountaineers' victory, putting up a game-high 17 points and adding nine rebounds. He received plenty of help from a good backcourt, as both Daxter Miles Jr. and Juwan Staten scored double-digit points.
While the Mountaineers continue to play well on offense, defense is an issue. The Bulls shot 45.5 percent from the floor, and three of their starters finished with double-digit points due to West Virginia's inability to remain stout on the inside. Although, the Mountaineers' biggest attribute is their ability to generate turnovers, and forcing Buffalo into 17 of them turned the tide of the game.
The Terrapins can be a little loose with the ball at times, and West Virginia may be able to take advantage of that in the round of 32. However, Maryland is just a far superior team on the offensive end of the court, and the Terps' ability to maintain a high shooting percentage will be just enough to squeeze out another win.
Prediction: Maryland 69, West Virginia 65
