Lardarius Webb, Ravens Restructure Contract: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction
Cornerback Lardarius Webb has been a Baltimore Ravens lifer throughout his NFL career, and that will still be the case after Tuesday’s contract news.
Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun reported, per a league source, that the Ravens restructured Webb’s contract.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported the financial ramifications of Webb's new deal:

La Canfora also reported more on the details of the restructured deal:
Webb has played six seasons in the NFL and has 11 career interceptions. He peaked in 2011 when he tallied five picks and played in all 16 games, but there is something to be said for holding on to a player who already understands the defensive schemes and plays during the free-agency period.
Webb is 29 years old and should still have a couple of more years of prime production ahead of him.
Baltimore struggled against the pass this season, even with Webb in tow. The Ravens were a disappointing 23rd in the league in opposing passing yards allowed per game and are looking to improve on that this season. Webb will still be a major part of those efforts given this news.
