NASCAR at Phoenix 2015 Results: Race Order, Final Times and Twitter Reaction
When the Sprint Cup travels to the desert for the first time this season, Kevin Harvick will be at the top of the leaderboard. Harvick won the pole in Phoenix with a lap speed of 140.751 mph and time of 25.577 seconds.
NASCAR provides a look at the final results from Friday night:
Coming off his first win of the season in Las Vegas, Harvick will be looking to become the first repeat winner in Phoenix. It also just so happens to be one where he's blistered the field on a regular basis.
Harvick has been on a roll in Phoenix over the last two year with three straight victories at the track. While he's won a record six races at the Avondale oval, Friday marked Harvick's first pole at one of his favorite locations, per Jeff Gluck of USA Today:
Just behind Harvick was Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano. Despite putting down some of the best times throughout the qualifying session, he fell just short to remain near the front. Getting that quality starting position might lead to his second win of the season if he can challenge Harvick.
Rounding out the top five were Jamie McMurray, Matt Kenseth and Ryan Newman. Here's a look at the starting order for the CampingWorld.com 500 following qualifying. The full list can be found at NASCAR.com.

One car that everyone was watching on Friday night was the No. 41 with Kurt Busch back behind the wheel. Busch's suspension was lifted earlier this week after missing three races due to the domestic abuse allegations from ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll.
Prior to getting back in the car for qualifying, Busch spoke about getting the opportunity to drive in Phoenix, via Tom Jensen of Fox Sports:
"It means the world to me to be back in the car. ...
You know, it's been a tough situation in the last few months and I've gone through this with confidence, knowing that I know the truth and that I never did any of things I was accused of. ... But I can't wait to get to the track, to see my team, to shake their hands and say thanks for the support and to go out there and make my first lap this weekend.
"
Busch didn't waste any time to prove that he would be a contender during qualifying. Outlaw drove to the top of the leaderboard during his first time out on the track, as Gluck points out:
That time wouldn't hold, but it was important for the confidence of the Stewart-Haas Racing driver who hasn't raced since Homestead-Miami in November 2014. He ultimately made it to the final round and will start eighth on Sunday in Phoenix.
One common trend for some of the fastest cars in qualifying was running just one lap. Both Logano and Harvick were in the top three in the first two rounds with just one lap.
Meanwhile, David Ragan went from the top of the first round to miss the final round due to finishing 13th. Kyle Busch's replacement had to return to the track in the first round just to advance and put down the best time.
Too many laps on the tires eventually hurt Ragan in the second round. Dustin Long of NBC Sports notes what dropped Ragan out of contention for a top-10 spot:
The No. 18 will still have a decent starting position for the Phoenix race but has a tough hill to climb. Given the domination by Harvick at the track, overtaking him will be a difficult task.
Driving to Victory Lane in three straight Phoenix races, the No. 4 will likely be up front again. After some blazing speeds in qualifying, Sunday's race should be just as enticing as the first three weeks this season.
