The last day employers should expect to get the majority of their employees' attention for the rest of the month is Thursday. Sure, there are four First Four games on Tuesday and Wednesday, but no one pays much attention to those.

All of the real action begins on Thursday, with 48 games through Sunday, as brackets will be made or destroyed with one shocking upset.

Since you'll need to keep all of the games in your head straight, here is all the viewing information to help prepare your schedule accordingly.

The Madness of March

As much fun as it would be to have the mental capacity to watch every single tournament game, it's simply not possible. You can watch snippets of every showdown, but monitoring every game is only feasible for the kind of being created in Dr. Frankenstein's lab.

Thus, the best plan of attack to absorb the NCAA tournament is to follow singular storylines. For instance, even though it's likely to happen at some point, you should plan on skipping all of the No. 1 vs. No. 16 matchups, since the latter has never pulled off that particular upset since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1985.

If you want to track Kentucky's potentially historic run, that's fine, but all the other No. 1 seeds aren't priority viewing until the second round.

In terms of how insane the NCAA tournament has become, via David Purdum of ESPN, the American Gaming Association has released its annual estimates for how much money will be at stake and how many brackets will be filled out:

"

The American Gaming Association estimates that 40 million Americans will fill out more than 70 million brackets and wager approximately $9 billion on the NCAA tournament, according to research released Thursday.

The $9 billion is more than double what the AGA estimated was bet on the Super Bowl ($3.9 billion) in the United States. The total number of brackets expected to be filled out will be greater than the number of ballots cast (nearly 66 million) for President Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

"

It's amazing to look at the business of sports. Our ratio of brackets to ballots may not reflect well on how invested we are in politics, but that's a lot of brackets.

As far as the amount of money being wagered, it's no wonder that television contracts for all sports are ballooning. There's obviously a huge value in getting people to watch a live event, especially in this era of DVRs and binge watching.

There is certainly no shortage of ways to watch the NCAA tournament, either on television or live streaming on a computer or mobile device. It's going to be a busy three weeks starting on Thursday, so get everything taken care of over the next three days, because the madness begins March 19.
