Details Emerge From Miller Arrest

CSN Bay Area obtained the police report from Miller's arrest, and provided more details on the incident in question

"

"On 3/5/15 at 2233 hours Santa Clara Police officers responded to the rear of 3957 Rivermark Plaza (Posh Bagel) in response to the call of a disturbance," detailed Gina McWilliam, Santa Clara Police Department records manager. "Investigation revealed the suspect and victim were in a verbal argument. The suspect pushed the victim causing her to fall to the ground and destroyed her cell phone. The suspect was arrested."

Miller Arrested on Spousal Battery Charges

On March 11, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reported the 49ers are investigating the matter and haven't suspended Miller.

The 49ers drafted Miller in the seventh round of the 2011 draft, and he has appeared in 61 games—including 42 starts—for San Francisco over the last four years. While his duties have mostly involved opening up running lanes for Frank Gore, he caught 18 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns last season.   

Over his career, the 27-year-old has carried the ball 22 times for 48 yards while making 66 receptions for 599 yards and three touchdowns.
