Mahmudullah Sets Up Bangladesh
Mahmudullah's 103 was the key contribution for Bangladesh and proved to be the crucial innings of the match as no England player was able to respond with a ton of their own.
It was a first World Cup century for Bangladesh and a first ODI ton for Mahmudullah, his 103 coming off 138 balls with seven fours and two sixes.
A calm and steady century, Mahmudullah accrued runs well with Mushfiqur Rahim, the pair putting on 141 together to get Bangladesh's innings back on track having been struggling at 99-4.
Their 275 total was well-defended by the Bangladesh bowlers, and Mahmudullah's knock proved to be the difference in the most crucial of matches at the Adelaide Oval.
He will be absolutely key for Bangladesh in the knockout rounds of the tournament, but he will likely need more support if they are to overcome more complete opponents than England.
Rubel Hossain Finishes England Off
Bangladesh paceman Rubel Hossain took four wickets for 53 runs in Adelaide, finishing off the England tail in brutal fashion to prompt delirium from the Tigers and their support.
Earlier on in the innings he saw off Ian Bell at a crucial stage, the English opening batsman having made 63 to set a base.
Hossain then dismissed Eoin Morgan in the same over, Shakib Al Hassan taking a terrific catch at fine leg after the England skipper hooked a short one.
Having dismissed two of England's key men, it was then Hossain who took care of the tail and wrapped up the victory for Bangladesh.
He clean-bowled Stuart Broad and James Anderson, beating them all ends up, and breaking the resistance which had seen England still in with a chance of victory with a couple of overs remaining.
