Should the Toronto Maple Leafs Trade Centre Nazem Kadri?
Nazem Kadri is one of the more polarizing Toronto Maple Leafs. Some fans believe he's an underrated asset, while others see him as an underachieving centre.
Kadri was sent home for being late to a pre-practice meeting this past weekend.
The Canadian Press (h/t CBC.ca) reports that the team has suspended the talented yet mercurial centre for the next two games.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
It has never been easy for Kadri in Toronto, as he's been a focal point for several seasons now in the media centre of hockey. The Leafs have rarely played high-quality hockey over his tenure.
He was highly touted coming out of junior and was drafted by the Maple Leafs as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2009 NHL draft. His talent has rarely been questioned. While not the best skater in the league, he's got exceptional vision and a great set of hands.
He's posted 149 points in 241 NHL games with linemates rarely able to match his prodigious offensive talents. The 24-year-old broke out in the lockout-shortened 2013 campaign, earning 44 points in 48 games.
Despite playing on a defensively challenged team, he's managed to be just minus-three over his entire NHL career. Regardless of the flaws with plus/minus ratings, that is an impressive total.
Although many Leafs games haven't mattered very much given the team's poor record since he joined it, Kadri is a passionate player who has seemed to care more often than not.
In a recent article, Josh Cooper of Yahoo Sports questioned why Kadri is being singled out now and what else is being withheld by the Leafs' brass.
Puckalytics.com reveals Kadri has been a good puck-possession player for the Maple Leafs over his entire career. His relative Corsi percentage has been consistently positive, and he's maintained that trend in 2014-15. He also ranks second on the team in points per 60 five-on-five minutes.
He's been a bright light on many nights when the team has been outclassed in most areas of the game.
I would be loath to trade the talented centre, but would the team be better off without the native of London, Ontario? What say you, Leafs fans?
