March Madness 2015 Bracket: Early Projections for Top 4 Seeds
March Madness has finally arrived. After several months of waiting for college basketball fans, the conference tournaments will decide which teams are the best in the country.
At this point, Kentucky, Virginia and Duke appear to be locked in at the top for No. 1 seeds. Much can change in the ACC tournament for the Cavaliers and Blue Devils, but an undefeated regular season will be enough for the Wildcats.
The No. 4 seed is being hotly debated between Arizona, Villanova and Wisconsin, all three deserving teams. Before the conference tournaments get underway, here's a look at the predictions for the top four seeds and a breakdown of the programs.

Being in a tough conference does not always guarantee an NCAA bid. Winning in a conference like the ACC? Well, that might just lead to a No. 1 seed.
That's exactly what Virginia and Duke have done this season to all but guarantee a top spot in the NCAA tournament. Duke may have lost against N.C. State, Miami and Notre Dame in ACC play, but those were the only losses of the year. The Hoos, on the other hand, have only lost to Duke and Louisville.
Sam Vecenie of CBS Sports offers his take on the Cavaliers after losing the season finale to Louisville:
"Definitely think that Virginia is still a No. 1 seed. Even with another loss in ACC semis or finals, still best resume of Wisc, Duke, Zona.

Kentucky, well, it's obviously a No. 1 seed regardless of whether it goes unscathed in the SEC tournament. The final top seed, on the other hand, is a little more difficult to figure out.
Villanova is locked into that spot thanks to a great regular season and weak Big East bracket ahead. The Wildcats mostly took care of business aside from losses against Georgetown and Seton Hall. Since those upsets midway through the conference schedule, Nova has won 12 straight games.
Following a blowout loss to Villanova, 105-68, St. John's head coach Steve Lavin noted how powerful the Wildcats can be, per Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv:
They'll have to get past Georgetown again, along with Butler and Providence—the other two ranked teams in the Big East. If the Wildcats can make a late run or clinch the tournament, they should lock up a No. 1 seed in the process.
