WWE NXT Big Board: Updated Prospect Rankings and Analysis for March 6
Sasha Banks and Charlotte stand on a different tier than the rest of the WWE NXT Divas division.
On Wednesday's NXT, they collided for the women's title in what ended up being a showcase of what women's wrestling can be at WWE. To call Banks a prospect at this point is misleading; she's a major leaguer hitting bombs in the minors.
Solomon Crowe made his mark as well, shining in his first televised bout at Full Sail University.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Little-seen Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton got into the fun, too. They joined Tyler Breeze and Baron Corbin on a show filled with short matches, a night capped off with NXT's two top women doing what fans have come to expect: being dynamic.
With new faces popping up and more to do so in the near future, the sprint to the top at NXT is getting crowded. The following is a look at who leads that race: who is most ready to produce on the main roster. Ring work, mic skills, size, look, "it" factor and gimmick all play a part in deciding the rankings.
The Superstars

| 3. | Adrian Neville | 5'10'', 194 lbs | Top-tier high-flyer, excelling at use of facial expression, average but improving on the mic. |

| 10. | Kalisto | 5'6'', 170 lbs | Superb athlete, quick, great high-flying offense, has not shown ability to be a top-level in-ring storyteller. |
| 11. | Solomon Crowe | 5'10'', 207 lbs | Excellent striker, good presence, athletic, well-rounded in the ring, strong on the mic. |
| 12. | Simon Gotch | 6'1'', 221 lbs | Works gimmick well, high-level showmanship, good use of facial expressions, has yet to have standout match. |

| 14. | Jason Jordan | 6'3'', 245 lbs | Impressive look, good athlete, improving as in-ring storyteller. |
| 15. | Aiden English | 6'3'', 215 lbs | Charismatic, works gimmick well, acting background aids him, average in the ring. |
| 16. | Buddy Murphy | 5'11'', 227 lbs | Good athlete, powerful, explosive, below-average on the mic. |

| 20. | Tye Dillinger | 6'3'', 223 lbs | Below-average athlete, good seller, adept at in-ring psychology, lacking gimmick/persona. |
Prospects just outside the top 20: Mojo Rawley, Wesley Blake, Angelo Dawkins
Hints of Shoot Nation
Chad Gable has led an army of black-clad amateur wrestlers into battle at NXT's live events. The faction has yet to appear on TV, but fans did get a glimpse of it on Wednesday night.
Fulton and Dawkins teamed up against the tag champs, donning gear that was Shoot Nation-eqsue.

The stable would boost everyone involved. Fulton is better suited to a role as a big hoss with an amateur background than the farmer-like gimmick he played early on. Going forward with the group would help give Dawkins a clearer identity as well.
Dawkins is the better prospect of the pair who took on Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy.
Fulton is bigger and more powerful, but Dawkins is more fluid and athletic. The overall edge in ring work goes to Dawkins. Fulton is just not explosive, something that will hurt him when so many of WWE's powerhouses, from Luke Harper to Rusev, impress in that area.
Dawkins' issue has always been persona-related. He needs a good gimmick to make up for underwhelming charisma. Being part of Shoot Nation will aid him there.
Should the group all arrive at NXT, though, both Dawkins and Fulton are going to have even more competition in grabbing the audience's attention.
Crowe Equals Captivating
Crowe went on the hunt, taking down an immense bruiser in Bull Dempsey.
His first match on NXT TV displayed his striking and selling skills. His forearms and punches had plenty of pop behind them. The shots he threw at Dempsey were convincing and eye-catching.
When Dempsey was on the attack, Crowe made it easy to believe he was in great pain. At one point, Dempsey headbutted him in the mouth, and Crowe fell back, his eyes wide, his hands feeling around for loose teeth.
These elements of his game are a tribute to how experienced he is, to what he's learned from years of circling the independent circuit.
Beyond that, though, his presence will make officials happy. There is something intriguing about him that draws one in. Many of his peers are larger and more handsome than him, but few can touch him in the presence department.
Tyler Breeze's Double-Edged Sword
Did we get a look into the crystal ball when it comes to Breeze's career? On Wednesday, he took on Adam Rose in a match filled with goofy moments and finished it by waving a fur-covered selfie stick at the Rosebuds.

While someone like Tye Dillinger has to wish for a standout gimmick like Breeze's, that part of his package may hold him back in the end.
Breeze is excellent in the ring. He is a fun performer with a mic in his hand as well. One has to wonder if WWE will always treat him like a sideshow act and never let him be a star.
His gimmick has helped get him noticed. It has allowed him to grow as a talker and a performer overall. It may be the reason he hasn't returned to the NXT title picture, though. Instead, he is taking on the clowning Rose.
Rose went to the main roster only to run in place. Fandango has failed to gain true traction. Those aren't paths Breeze wants to follow.
The Divas
| Rank | Wrestler | Height | Notes |
| 1. | Sasha Banks | 5'5'' | Most polished female in-ring worker, strong heel work, excellent showmanship. |
| 2. | Charlotte | 5'10'' | Huge upside, great presence, athletic, excellent in the ring and will continue to get better. |
| 3. | Bayley | 5'6'' | Great connection with the crowd, good but unpolished in the ring, works gimmick extremely well. |
| 4. | Becky Lynch | 5'6'' | Excellent mat worker, good athlete, gimmick not clicking. |
| 5. | Carmella | 5'5'' | Above-average talker, impressive presence, still a work in progress as a ring worker. |
| 6. | Alexa Bliss | 5'1'' | Fun energy, athletic, raw-but-improving in the ring, OK mic worker. |
Running Out of Superlatives
Banks and Charlotte feature heavily on the list of the 10 best women's matches in the last two years, often against each other. They added another artful performance as Charlotte looked to regain the title she lost at NXT TakeOver: Rival.
Viciousness is Banks' specialty. She wrenches and tortures her opponent so expertly that William Regal has to grin as he watches from the back.
Her move set is impressively varied. While so many Divas are limited to a handful of weapons, she has an overflowing arsenal that adds to her matches.
Charlotte still needs some polishing, but there is much to love about what she does in the ring. Showmanship is apparently a hereditary trait. The former champ is clearly a Flair when it comes to that part of the wrestling equation.
She stared down Banks with great intensity and delivered the line, "You gonna fight me tonight or what, sweetheart?" perfectly.
She showed off impressive power in the bout as well. None of this is anything new: Charlotte and Banks have been flourishing for months.
Bayley and Becky Lynch aren't going to be able to catch these two women in the rankings. They will have to wait until WWE decides to call up both Banks and Charlotte to challenge for the top spot.
