
Stephen Tulloch Will Remain with Lions for 2015-16 NFL Season
Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch announced he will be back with the organization for another season to end any speculation about his status.

He played in just three games last season due to a knee injury suffered while celebrating a sack. The freak accident ended a remarkable run of durability that seen him play in all 16 regular-season games in each of his first eight seasons.
Before last year, the run-stopping linebacker had racked up five consecutive campaigns with at least 100 total tackles. That includes 160 in his final season with the Tennessee Titans, which drafted him in the fourth round of the 2006 draft, before heading to Detroit.
Now that he's confirmed his return to the Lions, the question is how quickly the 30-year-old defender can get back to full strength. Once he does, he should slide right back into the team's starting middle linebacker role.
Tulloch sounds confident he won't suffer a drop off despite the injury. Detroit will hope he's right. His importance against the run will increase if pending free agent Ndamukong Suh doesn't return.
