Real Madrid Transfer News: Paul Pogba Blow Dealt Amid PSG Rumours
Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has hit back at rumours his client wouldn't be interested in a move to Paris Saint-Germain because the French league is "too small," dismissing reports Real Madrid are in pole-position to secure a transfer of the Juventus midfielder.
Writing for AS, Sergio Gomez previously reported the 21-year-old starlet had already decided against the Ligue 1 champions, but Raiola told Le Parisien (h/t ESPN FC's Ben Gladwell) that is not the case:
"No, Ligue 1 is not too small for Paul Pogba. For Paul, every big club is interesting, regardless of the league. We respect the Spanish league, the leagues in France, England, Italy and Germany."

As shared by Gianlucadimarzio.com's David Amoyal, the agent went on to clarify all this transfer talk is by no means a clear sign the France international will be leaving Italy to begin with:
Pogba is widely expected to pursue a transfer at some point in the next two years, having established himself as one of the world's top youngsters in Turin. The Bianconeri have dominated Serie A for years, but they can't offer consistent European silverware or the kind of wages PSG and Los Blancos can.
The midfielder was born in a Paris suburb and would fill a need for Les Parisiens, who would like to pair impressive youngster Marco Verratti with a mobile, versatile midfielder like Pogba. He has already shown his effectiveness playing alongside Andrea Pirlo, and Bleacher Report's Jonathan Johnson believes PSG will do what it takes to bring him back to France:
Real remain another strong candidate as the default destination for the world's best and most expensive players, but Carlo Ancelotti's side already has a bit of a logjam in the centre of the pitch. Pogba may not be interested in fighting for playing time, knowing he'd immediately be one of the top stars in Paris.
There's also the little matter of Euro 2016. For Pogba, it would be far easier to prepare for said tournament either in his native France or in a familiar environment, like Amoyal pointed out:
If Real president Florentino Perez is keen on Pogba's services, there's a good chance he'll launch a massive offer at the end of this season, and Perez has a tendency to get whatever he wants.
Securing the Frenchman's services won't be as easy as some Spanish reporters seem to think, however, and whichever team ends up winning the Pogba sweepstakes will have to beat out a host of interested parties when the time comes.
