Cricket World Cup 2015: Updated Leaders for All Batting, Bowling Stats
Kyle Coetzer's 156 against Bangladesh in Nelson on Thursday was Scotland's first century at a World Cup and the highest tournament score by an associate player.
It was not, however, enough to see Scotland to a first World Cup win, as Bangladesh chased down their 319 target inside 49 overs for the loss of just four wickets.
Tamim Iqbal's 95 was the key contribution to Bangladesh's success, and they are now well placed to qualify for the quarter-finals but likely need a win against England on Monday.
Read on to see how events at the Saxton Oval changed the leading bowling and batting stats at the 2015 World Cup.

Kyle Coetzer Sets Up Scotland's Highest Ever World Cup Total
Kyle Coetzer set plenty of records on Thursday in Nelson, as his 156 set up Scotland's highest World Cup score of 318-8, which is also the second-highest total for an associate nation against a Test side.
He became the first associate player to pass the 150 mark at a World Cup, while comedian and cricket writer Andy Zaltzman suggested a slightly more niche record for Coetzer:
"Kyle Coetzer becomes Scotland's first World Cup centurion. He is, I think, the WC 100-maker with the most northerly birthplace - Aberdeen.
— Andy Zaltzman (@ZaltzCricket) March 5, 2015"
However, his endeavours came in defeat, as Bangladesh recorded the second-highest successful run chase in World Cup history—the best by Bangladesh—for victory.
Coetzer's 156 came from 134 balls, including 17 fours and four sixes—the second of which took him into three figures.
It was a magnificent innings from Coetzer, the 30-year-old accumulating well and accelerating his scoring rate as he spent more time at the crease.
Unfortunately, though, it came in a losing cause and Scotland now face the daunting task of matches against Sri Lanka and Australia to close out their World Cup campaign.
Tamim Iqbal Anchors Bangladesh Chase
Bangladesh will have been confident of victory despite the large target set for them on Thursday, given the historically high-scoring surface at the Saxton Oval—Ireland successfully chased down 305 at the venue against West Indies earlier in the tournament.
The loss of Anamul Haque to a shoulder injury in the field made the task somewhat harder, but Tamim Iqbal's fine innings allayed any fears.
The opener faced 100 balls before being dismissed for 95 in the 32nd over by Josh Davey, hitting a six and nine fours.
Chipping in with his own contribution to the record-making stakes, Iqbal's 95 was Bangladesh's highest individual score at a World Cup, and his continued good form will be key with quarter-final qualification in sight.
