On March 3, the same account shared the following image of the construction process:
Meanwhile, in January the team posted the following video highlighting the stadium's location and the various features it will boast upon completion.
According to the team's website, the new stadium can be expanded to a capacity of 75,000 or even 83,000, depending on the size of the event. The stadium will have a retractable roof, allowing a floor-to-roof window in the northeast corner the stadium that will allow natural sunlight in and give fans a view of the skyline.
The stadium will also feature a 58-foot tall, 360-degree high-definition video halo board, a 100-yard bar on the third concourse that stretches the length of the field and a technology lounge, along with the standard club seating and suites that have become so popular in modern stadiums.
The team has also partnered with IBM on the project.
It's an ambitious undertaking, but both fans and the team have to be thrilled with the plans being drawn up and the aspirations for the new building. Atlanta's new NFL and MLS stadium has all the makings of a world-class venue.

Falcons Finance Plan Upheld by Georgia Supreme Court
Monday, March 16
"The Georgia Supreme Court upheld the City of Atlanta's intention to aid in financing the Atlanta Falcons' new $1.4 billion stadium," ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure reported. He added, "This allows the city to proceed with delivering $200 million in bonds toward the project. The stadium is scheduled to open in 2017."
The Falcons issued the following statement:
"We are pleased with the Supreme Court opinion released today upholding the validation of the hotel-motel tax revenue bonds to be issued by Invest Atlanta as partial financing of the new Atlanta stadium. We appreciate the support and diligence of our partners at the city, Invest Atlanta and the Georgia World Congress Center Authority in seeing this through, and we look forward to continuing to work with them as we complete the construction of a facility that will benefit the city and state for many years to come.
"
Team owner Arthur Blank also provided a comment, per McClure:
"I'm excited for the franchise, for our fans, all of the stakeholders. Any owner would say [about their own stadium] that this is going be the finest stadium, but it's more important to me that people who are more objective than I would probably look at it and say it's going to be finest sports-entertainment facility in the United States and one of the best in the world.
