Cricket World Cup 2015: Top Averages, Best Scorers and More Stats After Day 14
South Africa fully arrived at the 2015 World Cup on Friday, with AB de Villiers' extraordinary 66-ball 162 the star performance as the Proteas beat the West Indies by 257 runs.
Hotly-tipped as one of the tournament favourites, South Africa's expected opening victory against Zimbabwe was followed by a crushing 130-run defeat to India.
However, their performance in Sydney on Friday—and specifically De Villiers' wonderful knock—proved why they are well fancied to win the tournament in Australia and New Zealand. The West Indies fell to 151 all out having been set a mammoth 409 for victory.
Read on to see how Day 14's play has changed the bowling and batting standings at the World Cup.

Day 14's Standout Performers
7 of 7
Record-breaking De Villiers
AB De Villiers' phenomenal unbeaten knock of 162 at the Sydney Cricket Ground saw South Africa to an insurmountable total of 408, the first time an ODI team has ever passed the 400 mark on Australian soil.
It was also the second highest total ever at a World Cup and De Villiers now holds the record for the fastest fifty, hundred and 150 in ODIs, per ESPN Cricinfo.
He reached 150 off just 64 deliveries—his third fifty coming from only 12 balls—beating Shane Watson's previous record by a country mile, specifically 19 balls, per BBC Sport.
It was a bravura display from the Proteas skipper as he hit 17 fours and eight sixes to every corner of the SCG.
De Villiers now, unsurprisingly, sits in the top 10 for strike rate, average and runs scored at the 2015 World Cup, and his form will strike fear into his future opponents.
Tricky Tahir
No performance with the ball was going to be able to equal De Villiers' batting display, but Imran Tahir tried his best as he took five wickets, with the West Indies falling to 151 all out.
He claimed opener Dwayne Smith thanks to a terrific David Miller catch and had some luck in trapping Lendl Simmons lbw, the batsman having clearly edged the ball onto his pads.
Andre Russell fell to a smart diving catch from Kyle Abbot before Darren Sammy was beaten all ends up by Tahir and was stumped by Quinton de Kock.
Tahir's fifth victim was Denesh Ramdin, who was beaten by a googly and clean bowled. He actually had figures of 5-32 after eight overs before an expensive last few deliveries.
But despite that, his figures are the third best of the tournament so far, and only New Zealand's Tim Southee has more wickets than him overall.
