NFL Draft 2015: Selection Order and Prospects Who Improved Stock at Combine
At the NFL Scouting Combine, there are players who help themselves, and players who hurt themselves. There are players who justify their predraft hype (Vic Beasley, Trae Waynes, Kevin White and Bud Dupree come to mind, to name a few), and there are those players who create it.
Below, I look at those players who put themselves on the map with a strong showing at the combine, along with taking a look at this year's draft order. With the combine behind us, draft season is here.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State

Waynes may have earned the most buzz at the combine, but few players improved their stock more than Ronald Darby. Running a 4.38 40-yard dash, adding a 41.5" vertical leap and posting a 129" broad jump had scouts and NFL personnel buzzing about Darby's athleticism.
Were Darby an inch or two taller, he'd likely be a no-brainer first-round pick, but his freakish athleticism could vault him there anyway. As it stands, Darby looks, at worst, like a nickel corner at the next level, a hot commodity in the modern NFL, and at best the sort of player who will be a regular starter out wide for a team.
Eli Harold, DE/OLB, Virginia

Eli Harold has probably gone from a sleeper on many teams' boards to a player who will surely go either in the first round or early in the second. All Harold did at the combine was post a 4.60 in the 40, a 35" vertical jump and a 123" broad jump. He did that at 6'3" and 247 pounds.
No, he didn't quite match the athletic display of other edge-rushers like Beasley or Dupree, but after posting seven sacks last season, Harold showed that he has the athleticism to compete and continue to improve at the NFL level.
Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Missouri/Oklahoma
Without question, the biggest concerns surrounding Green-Beckham are his potential off-field issues. He wasn't going to change that at the combine. But after being out of football for over a year, he did have the chance to ease any concerns that he would be hitting the NFL out of shape or a step slow.
And boy, did he do just that.
Standing 6'5" and weighing 237 pounds, Green-Beckham ran an unbelievable 4.49 40-yard dash and looked smooth and natural in the receiving drills. He's a natural pass-catcher who tracks the ball well and practically swallows the ball into his big hands.
If he can prove to NFL teams he's matured and won't be an issue off the field, he could end up being a special talent at the next level. A team just might take the chance on that happening with a first-round pick after his impressive showing last weekend.
