Brett Favre: The Lambeau Legend
He was a quarterback from Southern Miss.
He is the oldest player in the NFL today.
From what I saw a few years ago, he also runs naked during winters in Green Bay. And no, that's not a myth.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He is a living legend—and yet to this day, no one can remember how to say his last name.
He is Brett Favre, and he is the inspiration to every avid football fan.
A 2nd Round pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 1991, Favre found his heart in Green Bay—and made a name for himself in the process. At age 37, Favre still has a golden arm and a love for the game as well. Even through the pains of several coaching changes, injuries, playoff losses, personal losses, and even his wife's illness, Favre still plays like a champion.
Many thought that he was immortal when he waved off retirement a few years ago. Those who have watched him all our lives knew that he was immortal in his own way.
Favre is a man's man, and every receiver's fantasy. No offense to Tom Brady or Peyton Manning—but even they have to admire the tenacity of Favre.
For as long as I can remember, Brett Favre is the only man in the NFL who will take a hit, get back up, and tell the guy to hit him harder.
Brett Favre has completed 5101 of 8348 career passes (61%) for 58,361 yards and 420 touchdowns. He has managed to seal his fate as a man who should become a coach someday.
He has been to the playoffs on multiple occasions. He has that ever elusive Super Bowl Ring. He has the respect and admiration of his fans, his city, and his peers.
Coaches love him. Players admire him. Up and comers want to be him.
He is living proof that age isn't anything but a number. And his number is 4.
He is the kind of man that every NFL athlete should aspire to be like. Is that enough proof that he is a man's man?
Every football fan—no matter English ball or American ball—knows who Brett Favre is. He is the type of guy that brings out the inner child in all of us.
Favre is the guy who every kid wants to be when they're playing football in the open fields, the backyards or front yards—even in the lights of Friday and Saturday night.
When Brett Favre eventually retires, he will have left a lasting impression that makes everyone smile just thinking about it. He is the reason most of us—if not all of us—play this game.
Through injuries, tragedies, and triumph, we play this game. So does he.
And his legend just got bigger.
Brett Favre has not only tied Dan Marino's touchdown record today, but he also set a new record for victories by a starting NFL quarterback.
17 seasons have made him what he is: Legendary.
He got to where he is by playing like a champion. He is still playing like a champion at 37 years young.
Brett, thank you for playing with pride. Thank you for playing with respect and integrity. Thank you for playing with heart.
Thank you for playing with the heart of a champion.
Thank you.
*For the record, it's pronounced {Farve}.
