Sanchez a Doubt vs. Bolivia

Thursday, June 18

Ben Dinnery of ESPN FC reported that Sanchez is dealing with muscle fatigue ahead of Chile's clash with Bolivia on Saturday, and he is a doubt for the match.

Sanchez proved to be one of the signings of the year for Arsenal, scoring 16 goals and assisting on eight in the Premier League last season, per WhoScored.com. He's a crucial piece of the Chilean attack, and while he has yet to score in the tournament, losing him would be a massive blow to La Roja's chances.

His ceaseless energy and willingness to put his body on the line for the team are remarkable attributes, but they perhaps amplify consistent niggles. If Sanchez cannot go on Saturday, don't be surprised to see Eduardo Vargas replace him in the starting lineup.
