R. Cory SmithFeb 4, 2015

The Super Bowl has come and gone, leaving NFL fans longing for the fall to finally arrive again. Instead of playing every weekend, franchises will now build toward the future.

One of the most crucial and beloved components of the offseason is the 2015 NFL draft. Now that the big game is over, the official order is finally set. Much of the order was already known, but the New England Patriots' Super Bowl victory officially puts them at the end of the first round.

Teams hoping to catch New England will love the crop of talent to choose from in 2015. Before some of the biggest stars at the college level take the next step, they'll have a long draft process to prove their worth.

Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama

NEW ORLEANS, LA - JANUARY 01: Amari Cooper #9 of the Alabama Crimson Tide runs the ball in the first quarter against the Ohio State Buckeyes during the All State Sugar Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on January 1, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Ph

During his time with the Crimson Tide, Amari Cooper collected several conference and school records. His junior season proved to be so outstanding that he left early to enter the NFL. Heading into the draft process, he's the No. 1 receiver for CBS Sports.

However, one AFC scout doesn't believe he's of the same caliber as last year's top talent, per Albert Breer of NFL.com:

"

He's an easy route runner. Not a lot of wasted movement, solid hands, good speed. But I wouldn't say he's elite. He does a lot of things really well. He just doesn't do anything with a 'Wow' factor like (Sammy) Watkins, (Mike) Evans or (Odell) Beckham last year. The best thing he may be able to do is run after the catch.

"

Regardless of what some scouts believe, Cooper is an elite talent with the talent to carry any franchise. He may not necessarily get the Oakland Raiders out of the top five next year in the draft, but the connection with Cooper and Derek Carr can be special.

Prediction: Raiders select Cooper at No. 4 overall.

Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon

The top two quarterbacks in the 2015 NFL draft are set. The order of those two, however, is not.

Both Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota strived to put their best effort on the field in 2014, and only one can come out on top. Even after winning the 2014 Heisman Trophy, Mariota's shoulder injury raises doubt that should propel Winston to the top of draft boards.

Sigmund Bloom of FootballGuys.com offers his take on Mariota at the next level:

Mariota may be dealing with an injury, but his talent is undeniable. He also doesn't have the off-the-field concerns of a guy like Winston, which makes the pick a safer one for franchises.

The dual-threat quarterback looks the part of a dynamic quarterback at the next level and has the athletic ability to terrify NFL defenses. Expect him to go early and end up with a team like the New York Jets that needs a leader to take the next step.

Prediction: Mariota falls to Jets at No. 6.

Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State

Cornerbacks are slowly becoming one of the most crucial positions in the NFL. After the crop of receivers that came in during the 2014 class, getting a great defensive back is of the utmost importance.

Trae Waynes is at the top of this year's pool of corners and a potential top-10 talent. Much like Darqueze Dennard before him, the Michigan State prospect has a chance to be a shutdown corner in the NFL.

Establishing themselves as a solid defensive unit in 2014, the St. Louis Rams need a cornerback who can give the line more time to rush the passer. Waynes would fit perfectly into the NFC West and help make the Rams one of the best defenses in the league.

Prediction: Rams make Waynes a top-10 pick.
