Superbowl Party Snack Mix

This one is either for the football fans who don't have major cooking chops, or it's just a supplement for a bigger dish designed to really get the party started. I hope you're the latter, because this is just the beginning of my menu.
This simple snack mix comes from 9 News in Colorado. Here are the ingredients and preparation time:
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Bake Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 7 cups Chex or Crispix cereal
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 1 cup stick pretzels
- 1 cup Cheerios
- 1 cup Goldfish Crackers
- 1 stick of butter melted
- 0.5 tsp. garlic powder
- 1.5 tsp. seasoning salt
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 3 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
If you have 15 people snacking on this treat, chances are they'll only be satisfied for the first quarter of the game. Even if you're flying solo or with a smaller group, you might want a little more than baked and seasoned cereal and crackers.

When Things Get Serious
Detroit Hot Honey Wings
OK, so the Detroit Lions didn't make it to the Super Bowl. That doesn't mean your Super Sunday can't have some flavor inspired by the Motor City.
Check out the ingredients in this sweet and savory chicken wing recipe from All Recipes:
I'd say that's enough to get your taste buds jumping. Here's how you cook this awesome dish:
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
- Wash the wings well and pat dry with paper towel. Season the meat with cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken wings on preheated grill until cooked through and juices run clear, 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the wings. Brush the wings liberally using 1/2 cup of honey while they are cooking.
- Melt the butter, pour into a large bowl and mix in the remaining 1/2 cup of honey and hot sauce. Remove the wings from the grill and immediately toss them in the hot honey butter sauce to coat. Serve the wings "wet" or return them to the grill for 1 minute per side to set the sauce.
After that, you'll need some dessert to round out your evening and to prepare for a nap.
The Fourth Quarter
Game Day Chocolate Cake
You've come this far, you have to partake in some dessert. Why not make it chocolate cake? This isn't just any cake, it's cake decorated with icing that depicts a little football field, and it has football-shaped sugar cookies on top.
Your teeth should be developing cavities just reading this. The ingredients for this recipe from The Food Network are what you'd expect: semi-sweet chocolate, flat cola, eggs, etc.
The baking instructions are also pretty easy to follow.
If you want to get your fill of football and food on Sunday, you can't go wrong with this lineup of grub.
