Villa Confirm Sinclair Capture
Friday, Jan. 30
The Midlands club announced the signing of the winger on a loan deal until the end of the season:
The player was happy to be linking up with the Villans, per the club's official website:
"It feels great to be here and the deal is finally done. It's taken a few weeks but I'm happy to be here, to be in the building and to be signing for the club and ready to play some football.
It's nice to be able to get settled somewhere and be a part of something going forward.
I spoke to the manager, Paul Lambert, and he gave me his views on what he wants from me here at Villa. I am still hungry to play football, that's what I told him, and I'm looking forwarding to getting started, hopefully playing every week and enjoying my football.

Sinclair Passes Villa Medical
Thursday, Jan. 29
Sinclair passed a medical on Thursday, as reported by Sky Sports' Bryan Swanson:
The former Chelsea and Swansea City winger moved to Manchester City in 2012 but has failed to impress manager Manuel Pellegrini, making just three appearances off the bench across all competitions this season, according to WhoScored.com.
The former England youth international has spent the bulk of his senior career out on loan after moving to Chelsea from Bristol Rovers in 2006. He's hardly made an impact on the Premier League, and Football Cliches couldn't help but take a shot at his lack of minutes since joining the defending champions:
Villa have the least productive attack in the Premier League by a large margin, per WhoScored, and at this late stage in the January transfer window, coach Paul Lambert is desperate to bring in anyone who might help in that department, according to the Daily Telegraph's John Percy.
Sinclair was once regarded as one of the top talents in England, and while he'll likely never fulfill the expectations that prompted the Blues to sign him in 2006, Lambert undoubtedly hopes he'll be able to turn his career around in Birmingham.
