Luis Suarez 'Not Interested' in Arsenal Transfer Rumours, Latest Barcelona News
Luis Suarez is "not interested" in a move from Barcelona to Arsenal, according to Spanish publication Sport.
The Uruguayan striker continues to be linked with an unlikely switch to the Gunners, a story originally posted by Dan King of The Sun.
Sport's article denies Suarez would be open to a switch, however: "Despite the rumours, the player himself is not interested in a changing clubs again any time soon and has manifested on several occasions his desire to stay and triumph at the Catalan club."

King previously suggested Arsene Wenger will try to lure Suarez from Camp Nou: "The Arsenal boss believes he will have big money to spend on a top striker this summer and Suarez would be his No. 1 choice."
Wenger previously offered £40 million and one pound to secure Suarez's signature in 2013, prior to his stunning 2014-15 season with Liverpool. Nick Lustig of the Daily Star believes the French boss tried to sign him again in the summer, but Barcelona's £75 million was enough to secure a deal for the incisive striker.
Suarez's goalscoring form hasn't been particularly impressive for the Blaugrana, not by his standards. He has scored five in 17 appearances across all competitions, per WhoScored.com, but continues to contribute with assists. Suarez has laid on eight goals for his team-mates this campaign, most recently during Wednesday night's Copa del Rey win over Atletico Madrid.

It was always going to take Suarez time to adjust, but Marca's L. F. Rojo suggests his goal ratio could become a problem: "A clear lack of his trademark killer instinct in finishing a number of clear goal opportunities over recent matches has set alarm bells ringing."
This is a harsh assessment, but it underlines the quality of the player who notched 31 Premier League goals last season. Suarez is often shunted into a wider position at Barca, a factor which is likely contributing to his slower return of goals.
Neymar suggests Suarez will need to figure things out on his own, per beinSPORTS:
"Am I giving advice to Suarez? He’s older and more experienced than I am. It is Suarez who should give advice to me...Anyway, Luis helps the team with his goals, with passes, with everything. It is an honour to be playing in the same team as him.
"

The 28-year-old's overall play hasn't appeared as sharp since he left Liverpool, perhaps due to his ban for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup, which saw him sit out until October's Clasico defeat.
Arsenal supporters are likely longing for a world-class striker. Right now, much of the onus is on former Barca man Alexis Sanchez, but he doesn't offer a spearhead in terms of position. Sanchez is an avid worker, someone who covers the entire pitch to make a difference. Someone of Suarez's ilk would give him a top-quality colleague to work off, relieving some of the Chilean's pressure to carry the team.
B/R UK's James McNicholas recently looked at other players who could improve Arsenal:
Speculation suggesting Suarez could leave remains premature. Barca's transfer ban ensures this is unlikely to even be considered until January 2016, the club's next possible chance to bring in any player. Suarez is still providing for his side and is likely to up his goalscoring quality as he continues to settle.
While it's possible Wenger is still longing for his capture from afar, it seems the Arsenal manager is better suited to searching elsewhere for a striker who can regularly win the north London side points.
