Zambia 1-2 Tunisia
In a end-to-end tale of events, Zambia can be left dismayed that it wasn't them who managed to claim victory on Thursday, spurring chances in great number before eventually succumbing to Tunisia.
The 2012 AFCON victors were in the ascendancy during the first period, but as Colin Udoh of ESPN tells, their opponents took their chances in more clinical manner and struck back to claim a Group B lead:
Still, it took the Zambians time to break the deadlock and the two teams went in at the break scoreless. Southampton's Emmanuel Mayuka eventually opened the scoring on 59 minutes, where it looked as though his side would only protect their lead or potentially add to it.

It wan't to be the case, however, and Ahmed Akaichi took just 11 minutes to equalise before captain Yassine Chikhaoui headed in the winner with just two minutes remaining in normal time.
As OptaJean illustrates, comeback victories are becoming a theme of this year's tournament, especially when compared with its predecessor:
Mayuka suffered an injury after netting his goal and was a loss to Zambia coach Honour Janza, who could have used all the reliable finishing possible as his side created so many chances.
But again, Tunisia showed that a never-say-die attitude can turn up wonders in a cup competition such as this and the Group B throne is their reward for now.
Cape Verde 0-0 D.R. Congo

Wednesday's evening encounter didn't quite have the makings of an AFCON classic as Cape Verde and the Democratic Republic of Congo settled on a 0-0 stalemate in Ebebiyin.
In terms of buildup, Cape Verde enjoyed a majority of the construction, but it was in the final third that neither side could make the difference, Goal.com's Ed Dove outlining just how boring the clash was at times:
The result means that both nations have now drawn the first two matches of their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaigns and need to chase a win in their final encounters to ensure safe passage.
WhoScored.com details that while both teams saw an equal share of possession, it was Rui Aguas' Cape Verde outfit who prospered more in the final third:
In truth, a share of the points was a deserved result, though, as neither team could display the necessary nous in attack to break the deadlock.
Democratic Republic of Congo now face a daunting tie against Tunisia in their final Group B clash, while Zambia will take on Cape Verde in a bid to salvage their tournament.
