Most Unheralded Player: Davante Adams, WR Green Bay Packers

There are a plethora of offensive weapons on the Green Bay roster who get plenty of credit, but one player who is quietly emerging as a star this postseason is Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.
After struggling at times with consistency during his rookie season, Adams elevated his play in the opening round of the playoffs and became a viable passing option for Aaron Rodgers when Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb were covered.
Rodgers targeted Adams 11 times on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, with the first-year player catching 11 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown. While the secondary for the Seattle Seahawks is much more impressive, Adams should still be able to find space with the defense focusing on Nelson and Cobb.
When asked about his relationship with Adams, Rodgers told Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com following the team’s win over Dallas:
"I just actually talked to him in the locker room. I just told him how proud I was of him. He went through a stretch where he didn't get the ball a lot for about four games, and that was kind of after he had a big game against New England, and everybody was kind of thinking this is when he's going to come on. But I'm really proud of him. He's a great player. He prepares every week the exact same. You don't see a difference in his attitude, and it says a lot about the kind of guy he is and the kind of player he's going to be for us.
"
Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy spoke to the team’s official Twitter account about Adams’ contributions to the team and how he will handle playing Seattle:
While his coaching staff and teammates have utter faith in Adams, the rookie will face the toughest test of his career. Not only will he be squaring off against the vaunted secondary of the Seahawks, but he will also be doing so in front of the raucous Seattle fans.
In the first game of the season between the Packers and the Seahawks, Adams wasn’t targeted once. Now that the defense knows that he is a legitimate threat, though, it will be aware of the danger he can pose.
Seattle finished the regular season ranked first in terms of passing yards allowed per game (185.6), but the defense will have to pick its poison. If the Seahawks decide to focus coverage on Cobb and Nelson, Adams will have another big day.
Predicted stat line: Seven receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown.
