WWE fans wondering when Dolph Ziggler might return to action and who else the company has in mind to add to the WWE Hall of Fame's 2015 class need only seek out the latest rumors.
The answer to the former question is not surprising in the least. As for who joins Randy Savage in the Hall of Fame, there's reportedly a curveball coming.
Other WWE rumors touch on the source of Roman Reigns' promos and what bout might be lined up for the first main event in Fast Lane history.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
We begin with the next round of WWE Hall of Famers. So far, the class has one member. A tag team specialist from yesteryear is rumored to be next in line.
Hall of Fame Class
It's official, the Macho Man is set to be a Hall of Famer. WWE made the announcement on Monday's Raw, with a highlight reel of Savage's career ready to go.
Another wrestler, whose career started before Savage was born, may join him.
Before the Savage announcement, Mike Johnson reported for PWInsider, "The two names that have been spoken about the most within WWE as likely being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this March in California are Randy Savage and Ray Stevens."
Johnson was right about that first name. The second is less familiar to many fans. "Crippler" Ray Stevens is plenty deserving, though.
He was a tremendous ring worker who was a huge star in California, a tag champ with the AWA several times over and once challenged Bruno Sammartino for the WWWF Championship.
He's already in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Hall of Fame. Entry into the WWE's Hall of Fame may be next.
Backstage Talk on Reigns' Promos
The last few times Reigns has grabbed a live mic, he has compared himself to Superman, quoted Sylvester the Cat and retold a fairy tale. Don't blame him for those odd choices. Vince McMahon himself is apparently feeding him those lines.
Dave Meltzer wrote on Twitter that McMahon was penning Reigns' speeches:
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Wrestling Inc), there has been a lot of backstage talk about how Reigns' promos have been holding him back.
Whoever is saying that is absolutely right. Reigns is no mic maestro, but turning him into a cartoonish goof won't help him connect with the crowd.
Reigns has to hope that McMahon can be convinced to let someone else take over writing duties for the powerhouse's scripts. He needs streamlined speeches, not references that leave the crowd scratching their heads.
Possible Fast Lane Main Event
Crammed between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, Fast Lane will make its debut. The new pay-per-view may be getting a tag team match as its first main event.
As noted by Pro Wrestling Torch's James Caldwell, "WWE is advertising a tag team main event of John Cena and Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins and Big Show for the Fast Lane PPV." However, that's reportedly subject to change.

According to PWInsider (h/t PW Mania), the match is just a placeholder for ads and ticket-sale purposes. It is not guaranteed to happen.
The "card subject to change" axiom is always in effect, but more so here.
That's good news for many fans, as this doesn't have the sizzle of a pay-per-view marquee match. Unless there was a big stipulation added that raised the stakes, it would be a filler match that would make Fast Lane feel like a filler show.
Backstage Word on Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback's Return
Cena couldn't earn Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback their jobs back on Monday's Raw. He lost the Lumberjack match that would have re-employed the exiled trio.
Luckily for those wrestlers and their fans, their time spent offscreen may be coming to an end anyway.
PWInsider Elite reports (subscription required, h/t Wrestling Inc) that word within WWE Creative is that Ryback, Ziggler and Rowan are expected back on next Monday's Raw. The report doesn't indicate whether they will be rehired or force their way into the action a la Goldust and Stardust in 2013.
WWE can use all the roster depth it can get, so it makes sense from that standpoint not to keep Ziggler and company inactive for long. The Showoff is a lot more valuable when he's stealing shows, not bench-riding.
