Colts vs. Patriots: Latest Game Info, Odds Guide for AFC Championship Game 2015
After toppling one legendary quarterback, the Indianapolis Colts will try to do it again when they battle the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
The Colts are coming off a surprising road upset over the Denver Broncos, holding the high-powered offense in check in a 24-13 win. Andrew Luck continues to put his name in the conversation as one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and will try to add to his resume with a conference title.
However, Tom Brady has other plans after a fantastic year of his own. Although the 37-year-old passer appeared done earlier in the year, he has rallied to guide his team to the No. 1 seed and is one game away from his sixth career Super Bowl appearance.

Breakdown
The Patriots deserve a lot of praise for their play down the regular-season stretch, excelling on both sides of the ball. New England's offense finished the year fourth in points scored while ranking eighth in points allowed, both of which were aided by a plus-12 turnover margin that trailed only the Green Bay Packers.
Brady has been a big part of the team's success, showing what he can do with a three-touchdown performance against the Baltimore Ravens in a divisional-round victory.
However, a lot of credit also has to go to the coaching staff, which continues to find innovative ways to win. A trick play that featured a Julian Edelman touchdown pass helped tie the game in the second half, while some varied formations kept the Ravens defense on its heels.
Still, one thing we did not see against Baltimore was a run game. The squad totaled just 14 rushing yards and completely abandoned the strategy late, according to Rich Eisen of NFL Network:
Jonas Gray and his 201 rushing yards and four touchdowns were a major reason the Patriots were able to blow out Indianapolis in their regular-season meeting, but the young running back was inactive Saturday.
Without balance, the improved Colts defense will be able to at least slow down New England's one-dimensional attack.
If this is the case, Luck should be able to do the rest after another strong effort against Denver. Although he had two interceptions, both of them were virtual punts on 3rd-and-long plays that didn't hurt the team. Otherwise, he was outstanding, as NFL.com's Bucky Brooks explained:
Even his head coach Chuck Pagano was impressed with what he saw Sunday, via Nat Newell of The Indianapolis Star:
With the Colts having their own run game coming through in recent weeks behind Dan Herron, this is a more complete squad than the one that faced New England earlier in the year.
As long as Luck can avoid mistakes and consistently move the football, he has what it takes to lead Indianapolis to an upset win over New England.
