Recap
It was all about the Brazilians at the 2015 Disney World Marathon.
For the fourth time in the past five years, it was Brazil's Fredison Costa who won the event on the men's side. His victory also ensured that the Brazilian dominance at this race continued, as it was the 12th straight time that the men's title was taken by a Brazilian.
Costa won with time to spare, as his differential of four minutes and 32 seconds ensured he spent much of the race on his own ahead of the pack. It was an impressive win from a runner who has dominated this contest in recent years.
News 13 in Orlando caught him as he crossed the finish line:

Another runner who has regularly conquered the race in the past, Brazil's Adriano Bastos—he's won the event eight time—finished fourth in this year's iteration, failing to challenge Costa for the tile. But the Brazilians dominated the top of the leaderboard, as the country had the race's second- and third-place finishers, Trindade Mateus and Joao Fonseca, respectively.
On the women's side, Brazil's Giovanna Martins won by a comfortable margin, as she finished three minutes and 59 seconds ahead of second-place runner Heather Hunt. Heather Schulz finished third.
Orlando Track Shack captured a photo of Schulz after she finished the race:
With the Brazilians again dominating Sunday, it will be fascinating to see if the country can maintain its grip on the race in 2016, in particular Costa. Both Costa and Bastos have headlined this race for the past decade, so it will take an excellent race from a top contender to unseat the top men.
More than a few folks will have to wish upon a star if they hope to top Costa and Bastos.
